Wow. That'll definitely be interesting to watch!!!

I don't want to compare them. I would give Hema 100% for that song. So the Best KArunya could do is the same as Hema. 😉

I'm sure I will be biased towards Hema's version though...his deep voice and the way he pulled off the song.

Karunya is singing only from one genere. Now again Sukhwinder's song....in that also he will murder the expression. His voice does not have depth although he has got very good diction but that wont help.

Karunya is a perfect example for all those hindi or any other language conservatives who say diction is most important....hope u guys can see how important thr right expression is than diction. Music is all about expression.

I partly agree with you. Experssion is very important, no doubt. But diction plays a very important role too.

Take this situation:

I went to a party and an Indian lady sang 'I will always love you' by Whitney Houston. Her expressions were right on, but her accent was terrible. Though she was obviously a good singer, she killed the song.

I think Hema is working on his diction issues, so he will be the full package once he gets that down.

I think Karunya can sing it more skillfully. I think he is better gifted than Hema as far as singing talent is concerned. But I highly doubt if it will sound all that good in his voice. Hema's voice is much much better than him.

Just curious - why are Hema and Karunya being compared with each other? I have seen this in other threads also and the comparison is not limited to diction alone. Why not compare Arijit, Amey or Rahul Saxena with Hema?

Both have similar classical backgrounds. Hema vs Amey? TKO to Amey, IMO.

I think that particular song, Karunya will probably sing better than Hema because it suits his voice. But thena gain if it is soulful like Nahi Samne or Tanhayee I dont think Karunya can match Hema. Lets wait and see

I prefer Karunya to Hemu, somehow Hemu did not impressed me much.. I hope Karunya will win IL2 but seeing him bottom 3 so many time.. i feel his fate is also going to be like Hemu...
