I don't think debo is besura. However he is limited in type of songs he can sing which is true for almost every singer. He sing "ek hasina " good. He didn't do justice to ID composition yesterday. It was suppose to be sufi style and he failed miserably. I guess ID was trying to prove that Debo/ID can also sing/make HR type of songs however it failed to materialize.

It doesnt matter where Debo lives. People of Assam have gained confidence and a presence on the national stage which is their due but which has been denied to them because of North's pervading dominance. Now they will have more initiative to pariticipate in national contests althought most of these are Hindi language contests. Their winning is a double victory. People who had never even heard of Silchar and Assam (yes, sadly there are such Indians) too will also be more aware of their nation's states and regions. And we will have more Bhupens, Burmans and Kishores. So everyone gains!
