My god , Hat off to NE people, what a strong support u hv given to debo, I am so surprised the way u all hv supported the son of your region. I know NE were giving good support to debo from the beginning and to other bengali singers also of challenge. but after the top 4 round the [that too a comment of a lady who said that this is not assam's voice ] public came in support of debo so vigorously and were ready to spend as much as they can to increase debo's voting trend.is really amazing. [as it became a prestige issue of assam] I hv many friends in US and UK who were in favour of debo winning and that too after witnessing the painful incident which always come to their mind gave their vote through internet. They were more happy on ID that he is the only mentor who fired his gharana's challenger [like twinkle, debo] in public when they went wrong some time. and did not believe in hyping his challengers in public but trained them so well behind the scenes and left these challengers to the public.choice . but when he realised that hyping is necessary [at the fag end of show] he became very serious [bcos the way nihira's elimination was made a mockery by HR that public ne usko baahar kar diya and the chapter is closed made ID more sad ..and also the way other mentors were planning to eliminate by discouraging debo giving very low marks though he deserved to get more marks made him to go out of show. but he realised that leaving the show is not the solution and came back for the sake of debo that he shd continue in the show and asked apology from public and asked justice for debo and started hyping his challanger at the fag end of show. but he did not do any drama baazi nor behaved like a cartoon as other mentors did to hype their challengers. ID hyped debo in a simple way though tolerating all nonsense drama of HR that his challenger is bhikenewala cheez nahi. but he kept cool which he learned from his shishya to maintain a mental balance in such situation.. The way shaan and paresh lifted debo was a great scene. I was not a debo's fan but after the elimination of my favourite paresh and nihira I was little disappointed. but after nihira's exit the twist which took place made me that I shd pray for debo that he shd win. [for the humiliation and insult he suffered from his youngsters and mentors]and the way he handled that painful situation with a cool mind and still concentrated on his performance is not a easy job. definetely his late mother's blessing must have given miraculous support to him. once again Hats off to NE [that too assam] all over India and also the people all over the world who voted for him. This is a lesson to HR who shd learn to be more humble rather bashing all the talent challengers and stop arrogant behaviour for which his shishya paid a heavy price. anyway vinit also gave tough fight though lost by 4lakhs 60 thousand votes.
One thing what I observed is bengal is full good talented singers [in srgmp fame gurukul, indian idol ] ek se bad ke ek gaane ghaathe hain. Bengalis are basically a music lovers i shd say, I used to enjoy the song of KC day [Mannadeyji's uncle] Mannada and now list is very very big. it is good to see so many youngsters are having interest in music. debo always keep your mind cool and hope u will not change after u become a great singer. do not forget your collegues. and once u r estabilshed help them also for their future in whatever way u can. [my recommendation to paresh and swandanda who r far away from india] swanada and paresh nihira ,ujjaini,rakthima supported u we saw their interview in zee news.nihira is our mumbaichi mulgi and her career has picked up now and i am sure she will shine one day like latiji.
