I respect autmother feelings, her kids might have noticed it and complained about it and kids are absolutely correct. I accept that Zee TV has completely messed up the thing by declaring vote based on region. But the same time you have to appreciate Indian feelings see the brighter side too. See a small example of QAZI from FG, people of all religions, all regions, all ages have voted for him even that we know he was not a good singer. Do not look dark side only, otherwise everything will look dark around you. Even SRGMP has given a lot to us, atleast we are talking with each other here in forum due to this SRGMP. SRGMP was the first experience in reality show for Zee, next time they will come up in better way.

very true...given the amount of regionalism that has come out on this show where the result does not really impact anybody,it is scary to think what will happen if there was a issue that matters and the regions had to decide on it.but then it is always something that lingers in the back of everyone's mind, this show has just openly displayed it.
on the other hand the channel should be ashamed for encouraging(ie not editing out)this kind of blatant regionalism in its programming just to rake up trps.
everything that happens in usa is not necessarily a good thing so let us not justify a wrong attitude by saying that it is prevelant in other countries too.
it has always mystified me how people (myself included) justify regionalism until it hurts thier personal interests(example , certain music directors), then we condone it.i fail to see what greater good would be achieved if one contestant won over the other riding on regional votes or does it really matter that the contestant who won did it becase of regional votes. maybe people in his area have a better appreciation of his talent than the rest or they feel that he represents them.

I am glad to see at least some of you here are not trying to not be swayed by these regionalistic feelings.

That is why everyone leaves India given an oppurtunity 🤢 . We need to change the mentality of the general people... It is so sad. 🤢 🤢
