Right ms04. Probably this was the challenge she was referring to on the day of her elimination. "There will be another challenge".

She's already a winner and will go places.

I said nihira's elimination was very painful to me on the show. U all will be surprised the reply I got from my kitti friends that too more maharshtrians have not voted to nihira for the following reasons. Do u know what they said , they did not give vote to nihira bcos she did not ask for vote in our language that is in marathi where as haryana girl, hydrabad boy, bengali girls are all asking vote in marathi but our marathi girl never asked vote in marathi, so they are of opinion that she has no respect for marathi language though she is maharashtrian girl. I was very disgusted with their argument. I said in first two ,three episodes she was asking vote in marathi also but probably she must have felt that this challenge is being a india's voice so she must have changed her mind to ask vote in hindi as hindi is the india's main language.. poor girl she being so sincere in following india's voice maharshtrian gave vote to the challenger who were asking 'mala vote dhya'. what an attitue this language played for nihira's exit. very pathetic. I stopped arguing who never understands the reality of the stand taken by nihira,.

I do not agree with you, Asha Rao.

1) Nihira was asking for votes in Marathi in each n every episode.

2) Opinion in KITTY PARTY OF YOUR COLONY does not applicable to all Marathi people.

3) All Marathi people admire Nihira as a BEST SINGER though she feels shy to perform or to dance. That is an attitude of a girl from a decent family.

4) Marathis' have treasure of good singers - Lata Didi, Asha Tai, Suman Kalyanpur, Sudhir Phadke, Sadhana Sargam, Suresh Wadkar..... and now Nihira Joshi... the list is unending!

5) Marathi people know SRGMP is not a last destiny for Nihira , infact it's good for her to get out from this show, as the excellency level of this show is diminishing very rapidly.

SRGMP has lost Sharib, Swananda, Sanchali, Niladri, Abhijit and many more good singers before Nihira. SO DONT BLAME PARTICULAR COMMUNITY AND IF U WANT TO SHOW YOUR THINKING POWER - CHOOSE SOME OTHER TOPIC. PLEASE. (Pls do not take it in a wrong way.. but it's hurtening to some class of ppl.)

Nihira is proving better by staying outside SRGMP as she has already shown her singing capabilities.

For her - SKY IS THE LIMIT 😊

Go Nihira Go😳

Just by feeling bad about Nihira or Hemu, there is a possibility that we might be justifying Vinit and Debo in Finals. There is no f.. way anyone can prove that Vini/Debo are better than Hemu/Nihira, when it comes to singing..
Vinit/Debo might be more popular, but not more talented.

So dont feel bad for Hemu/Nihira. They will definitely make their mark in the industry and will go a long way, than just hosting few Zee programs and singing for a year for Zee stage shows.. 😉

All is said and done..... people go after glamor, looks and show off. They have no respect for the talent.

As far as Nihira is concerned I think she has already won hearts of millions of people in India and around the world.

She has given the Title Song of new Zee Seriel "Kasamh Se". Sanjay Leela Bansali has given her break to sing in his next film. Ismail Darbar has already recorded song for her. A.R. Rehman has approached her. She has already done work for Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's next venture besides recroded 4-5 songs for different music director apart from recording one private song for the album.

What more anyone can get........She is the real winner.

Cheers

Agree with u, Maanas 😊

Agree with Orange 100%. Being a Marathi, I can emphatically say that the ladies in the kitty party are truely NOT representing the general Marathi community.

Marathi people have always taken great pride in the national heros from amongst them--be they in any field. Sachin, Sunil, Lata Bai, Asha Tai, Suman Kalyanpur, Suresh Wadkar all are loved and respected very much. Same is true with Nihira. She is being liked and loved by almost all Marathi people watching the show, Her asking votes in Marathi would not have made any difference to the most.

The only reason she failed to go past the last 5 is that she did not have the kind of regional vote bank that the top 4 had. While the other candidates had support of multiple states, Nihira was dependent only on Maharashtra as no other state indentifies a Maharashtrian as a person from their region-- not even Gujarathis.

voting system is wrong...and Nihira is an excellent singer , no doubt..but what about others? Though they asked in their own languages too what happend? Hemu sang so greatly and in the same episonde he was out????that shows how foolish is this system........I dont know what happens to Indian Idol2......atleast by now they should realise the defect of this system and innovate a different system to judge the talent.

Asha Rao is very near to the reason of Nihira's elimination. I have come across to the people of several States and I have every reason to believe that Marathis are very vocal to their regional pride. We have met a group of visitors of Maharashtra in Delhi and in their conversation there was a single word cropping up again and again and i.e. was "Jai Shivaji, Jai Maratha". I was a bit amused with their reaction. Though we are living in India but there are some people who still hold regional pride above the country. There are so many instances to prove the same point. Though we cann't say that it is wrong but sometimes it goes to the extent of silliness.

I dont agree with you Asha Rao. I being a Maharashtrian n a personal acqiuntant of Nihira, I have voted in large numbers for Nihira. I dont think asking for voting in Marathi mattered for us. What mattered was her voice quality which was undoubtedly the best.

Do not apply a group of ppls' opinion that u had in Delhi - to the whole Marathi community.

These Marathis are themselves now like a guest in their own town - Mumbai. If they wudn't hv allowed other communities in Mumbai before.. the situation definately wud different today!

Marathis are very kind hearted and very talented. Their neighbourship is a gift! They have not bossing attitude, and are of helping nature always!

So think twice bwfore u write. Go and hv a sleep.

Dont ever say that again. I dont know what caste u are n i dont wnt 2 start a regional discussion here. But u dont have any right to criticize any community. So please let Asha keep her ideas to herself as they are not practical.
