nihira paid a heavy price for the reason-

Hai all of u I wanted to share a true incident with u all. We ladies [of our colony] had a kittie party after a long time . our discussion was on saregamapa that too on nihira. I said nihira's elimination was very painful to me on the show. U all will be surprised the reply I got from my kitti friends that too more maharshtrians have not voted to nihira for the following reasons. Do u know what they said , they did not give vote to nihira bcos she did not ask for vote in our language that is in marathi where as haryana girl, hydrabad boy, bengali girls are all asking vote in marathi but our marathi girl never asked vote in marathi, so they are of opinion that she has no respect for marathi language though she is maharashtrian girl. I was very disgusted with their argument. I said in first two ,three episodes she was asking vote in marathi also but probably she must have felt that this challenge is being a india's voice so she must have changed her mind to ask vote in hindi as hindi is the india's main language.. poor girl she being so sincere in following india's voice maharshtrian gave vote to the challenger who were asking 'mala vote dhya'. what an attitue this language played for nihira's exit. very pathetic. I stopped arguing who never understands the reality of the stand taken by nihira,.

Unfortunately I think that's shows us mentality of many people. We need to think about it why we can't think broader and focus on goal.

saregama jaise chhote mote competitions to hote rehte hain...she did RIGHT by not asking in marathi.Why should she? She IS india ki voice. She has a tough job on her hand to compete with alka,kavita and shreya, so may God be with her.

Agreed ms04. Thats the way it should be. One day when she will be very popular and the same group of people will then try to be proud that she is Amchi Mulgi.

That must be one of the reasons for getting only 30 lakhs votes.

It's foolish to argue that she did not asked for votes in Marathi. That dosent make in difference. She was out soley due to the most horrible system of "Public Voting" and here I challange Public Voting. People who were voting were masses and they do not understand the real talent. All is said and done..... people go after glamor, looks and show off. They have no respect for the talent.

As far as Nihira is concerned I think she has already won hearts of millions of people in India and around the world.

She has given the Title Song of new Zee Seriel "Kasamh Se". Sanjay Leela Bansali has given her break to sing in his next film. Ismail Darbar has already recorded song for her. A.R. Rehman has approached her. She has already done work for Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy's next venture besides recroded 4-5 songs for different music director apart from recording one private song for the album.

What more anyone can get........She is the real winner.
