This is biggest joke I'v ever heard! why on earth will he go against the public on behalf of other gharanah's contestants and undermine his own contestant's position? just because he said some words of encouragement to himani and vinit doesn't mean that he is fighting for their cause at the expense of his own students (unfortuately Nihira was ousted maybe because of that but that was not, hopefully not, ID's intention).

he is afterall a mentor of a candidate who is trying to win. he's not a neutral judge.

boss, u have a certain favorite. Fine, great. Agreed he/ she is the greatest thing since u-know-what. But can u even begin to understand that music is a very subjective thing? No two judges even in a beauty pageant will necessary agree on who is the most beautiful woman in the world. does that mean that one is being intentionally biased? when u go house-hunting or spouse/ bf/ gf- hunting, do u agree with others as to who/ what is the best?

n here, there ARE valid factors to even go against hema. YOU think he doesnt have an accent that otherwise minimizes the "greatness" of his performances? fine. that's your view. someone else can certainly feel otherwise. yaar, even as indians with perfect scores on english part of college board exams, do we have too many of us making it in the western music/ broadcasting world? y not? technically we r so good at english.

give ID some credit yaar for not being a total jackass like AS n HR.

let me repeat what i said. ID is not a neutral judge, he is a mentor who should support his own contestant to achieve the goal of winning the competition.

did u see AS or HR bashing the public on Nihira's or Sharib's exit? If anything they started playing their own political games of regionalism. Jatin criticized the public when Sharib was out (his own contestant).If a singer is really good, he will get recognition, eg. ID offered Sharib a duet with Lata Mangeshkar, Hema offered something by Shubas Ghai, etc.

The way I see your point is like this: the coach of cricket team A should give tips to cricket team B just because team B is better than team A and deserves to win (even thought team B is playing against team A)

ID may give Hema a chance once the competition ends. right now his goal should be to support debo.

year tradition to thik rakhna parega. here which music competition is giving the right singer. Jo log achcha gata he woh sabse peheli out ho jata he. To uus hisab se hemu kabhi nehi ayega.

But, please for the sake of the UNCOOL generation like us, COULD YOU PLEASE WRITE IN ENGLISH. It really becomes difficult for us to read the cool english words ending with z and x's.
