Moderators here are probably the worst - Page 2

I feel the MODS are just doing their job...other sections of IF am afraid wouldnt be that hard to maintain because this section there are alot of abusive, rude remarks used to criticize contestants,their families,mentors and even other members of this forum...
I believe the MODS have a very difficult task at hand and we should try and understand that

i don't agree at all. even the topic discussing moderator's fainess was closed.

i won't be surprised if this topic also gets closed.

the reason being we've discussed vinit/HR and other contestants too much. since when the moderator's have right to decide what people should discuss. editing out profanity is fine but closing topics for ridiculous reasons is not.

First of all its always easy to point fingers and that is exactly what you have done. This section thanks to the show has topics springing up like dozens a min and its not humanely possible to make sure that all topics are read and all are kept under control. Still we are all trying to maintain it and have infact warned a lot of people. If there were no mods the section would not be this sane so lets recognize the hard task they have in hand and acknowledge their work.It also takes a lot of time to go through just a few topics as some go forever.

We have a lot of people looking after this section but they do not understand or follow the show so its not easy for them to always close the conterversial one or who is attacking. We have asked you to help us by creating report buttons and also PM any mod, Channel mod or Global Mod . Have you used this button???? Have you Pmed the mods your issues ?

We have asked nicely and even warned but there are a few people who just do not heed and instigate the others . In a show like this where there are favs its easy to fall to the bait that is what is exactly happening. If we tell you to just stick to the topic you tell us mods are restricting and if we allow to voice you people get personal. Moderating such a section that most of the stuff unfortunately instead of being black and white like the other sections fall in grey areas.

What you feel is right is not what the others feel and trying to moderate trying to please all is not a easy task. So I hope instead of accusing the mods lets try to help by doing our share of maintaining the section by creating good topics and not repeat the same topics to prove our point. Also lets try to maintain a healthy discussions going on instead of just adding to the the drama like the show .

Regarding vijay he has a lot of people Pming him . In most cases if its with reference to a show as he does not follow he needs the mods and the rest of the dev team to help him. It could be that a few of his PM's are being taken care by sujalfan and other mods. Besides he has a lot of other technical and forum improvements that he needs to take care of that and hence we have the different people like mods and GM's to help you . If you are havin a problem please feel free to PM any GM and they will be glad to help you.

Well, I would suggest, that one day, u come online, and read ALL the active topics, and everytime a member replies, check that if he/she didn't personally attacked any member, contestant, mentors or anyone else.

I can assure you that, by the end of it, you will have a headace.

There is a huge differnce between SRGMP section and other sections on IF. SRGMP is highly active in post making, replying, attacking, abusing, swearing. you name it. then how can Mods even think other then Peace of the forum.

If the members spare them, and give them time to think of other activities, then I am sure, they would love to have fun with the members.

As for Vijay, he is has loads of things to do for the forum, he gets around 40 pms a day. and replying to each one of them is impossible. To make his life easy, I suggest you PM mods, GMs, CMs or viewbies.
