Hi Sinhaji, Always adored you for that signature of yours "Panchamda : Magician of Chords"

Every... night we listen to RDB songs before falling asleep...

There are so many romantic songs.... But the song that makes me cry every time I listen to it is

Ho raama re ho raama
Dholi Mien Bithai Ke Kahaar

from Amar Prem..

Its not the words (of Gulzar I think), not the tune of RDB, but his voice & his feel that make me cry...

Let us not even talk about present day's musicians/lyricist.. Feel like going back in time to yester years and only belong there.

many thanks, long ago I was with my Keyboards Roland XP10 trying to find diff chords in sequence for Dosto se pyaar kiya (Shaan), I was left amazed how the chords were drifiting away in free style, finally the entire page was full, you remember the interlude music of this title theme, recall the part where brass instruments are changing chords while bass guitarist keeps plucking notes on A

I know that to think of such complicated chords sequence today is impossible.

Dear Music Lovers, what decade do you think Bollywood music was at its "Golden Age"? I personally think it was the sixties but what do I know! 😆 😆

Nair, Ashaji will never reach the level of Lata Mangeshkar because she is some goddess of music and melody. She is worshipped by EVERY aspiring female singer in India (along with Ashaji to a lesser extent).

Yes Im also a huge fan of Ashaji.
I think Pancham's failing career & health were the reasons behind such melancholic yet beautiful songs of Ijazzat, RDB has used raaga yaman kalyan for mera kuch saman......which won national award for Gulzar & Ashaji, in words of Gulzar, Kheer.
I personaly rate Ijazzat in top 3 movies of RDB.

Guys why the f**k is a person allowed the name 'SWASTIKA' here!??! That is openly offensive and should be regarded as a despicable and xenophobic act.
