Personally I have been singing both Indian popular music/gazals and Western music (love songs of Nat King Cole) for the past 30 years with a few popular demos. I know what music is.

This idea of leaving to public to decide who is the best possible playback singer is totally wrong. This should have been done by music masters and not the public.

Regarding the three young singers, Himani, Hemchandra and Vineet

walking off the stage is totally unacceptable. If they belived in the public opinion, then they should face the 'music' as they say it in here in the US.

In any case, in my opinion, all three girls Nihira, Hemani and Ujjaini are excellent singer. If one has to decide between these three, my vote goes to Nihira as number 1, folowed by Hemani, and then Ujjaini.

Among the boys, the best singer is Debojit, followed by Hemachandra and then Vinit.

Among the mentors, the real great person is Ismail Darbar. Others are neither fair most of the time and nor are they great in terms of their accomplishments.

I agree with u n ur choice of Nihira.. some day she will be gr8 singer in India. God Belss her n she was garecefull the way she left...unlike Nihira

First get ur facts clear...they only count SMS. not fair? i say NE people are gr8 for supproting their candidate.. we should have toghut abt region thing before setting the rules.. why u all cry foul now afer so many good singers left? is it coz ur candidate may lose to Debo? i heard hema's parents spending 2lacs for sms is that fair? why dont u vote like NE people n support ur guy? stop crying n start acting

to all NE people...u all doing gr8 n keep up gr8 work........let India watch a guy from NE wins all.

i use to vote for Nihira n after she left was inclined to vote for Hema but after walk out Debo gets my voteS.

YALGAAR HO is a war cry and whenever Ismail Darbar screamed it out, it sounded quite spine chilling. Aadesh Srivastav is not wrong when he says it sounds like some one from Pakistan. We have had wars with Pakistan before and still have border problems, cross-firing and so on. Had there been hatred for Muslims among music-lovers, Mohd Rafi would not have reached the iconic status that he did. Nor Begum Akhtar, Amir Khan, Bade Ghulam Ali Khan and so on. Ravi Shankar's guru was Ustad Allaudin Khan, and in one interview, RS said that his guru knew more about the depth of Hindu culture than Ravi Shankar himself, and would remind him to follow certain customs and festivals!

Aadesh says in the interview that you have cited, that Ismail Darbar is extremely rude and that is true. We have ourselves seen how he would address his students and upbraid them mercilessly. Very rude, sarcastic and caustic. But frankly I really enjoyed watching the way he "ragged" his students before taking them close to his heart. That's his style.

However, if Ismail treated the other mentors in the same rude manner as Aadesh claims, it is not right. I won't support Ismail if he thinks his knowledge of classical music is more than others, especially Jatin Lalit who are the nephews of Pandit Jasraj. Ismail does need a course in good manners, even though he is a lovable person.

Coming back to the Hindu-Muslim issue you raised, I would like to say that Pakistanis watching Indian programmes might be always on the look-out for what they think is a bias against Muslims. This is not right. You have no idea about the free-thinking atmosphere prevalent in India, especially in the cultural field. A Hindu is free to convert to Islam and take on the name of A.R Rahman in our country. If Aadesh objects to Ismail's rudeness, don't take it to mean that he hates Muslims in genral. That's absurd!

wasnt ID one to give 50 rs to vinit? he was one to offer Sharib to sing in movie when he was voted out...and they both r from other gharan's.. does this sound like person AS described in his interview? ID may not be from music family but we all love his tunes and every one doesnt have to be from music family to know music. Id is simple n good hearted person..yes bit emotional but thats him.. he scolded Debo once after other judges gave him very low marks coz he din sing well.. wat does AS do when others give bad marks to his candidates? he fights with mentors n defends his candidate.. atleast IS when his candidate is wrong doesnt not defend them n he scolds them so they can do better

hello to all pls dont think on this topic in wrong way already it enters in political way due to this nihira sharib r out we r NRI and here wer only indians we have to select only best voice if we lost our way oncemore we will loose the nice 1 like nihira dont miss the track and choose the best voice excluding guru parent region we all r indias and proud of it .it....it,,,, &nb sp; thank u good wishes

i think it is disgusting how the three walked out. I agree public voting isn't fair, but when they were getting top scores previously than why was it fair? It is obvious that they are going out because they don't like debojit. This is a singing challenge where people must lose and win. If they can't face losing and back off when times are hard then they will never make it as singers in real life. I admire nihira who was voted out unfairly but still took it well. Those are the people who will become real stars

This is a load of CRAP! just think about when the others got the highest amount of votes the system was fine and no one left, but when debujit, for the first time, gets the highest its wrong. i think he should win and to hell with the others.ffs.
