I am surprised by the behaviour of these three contestant[himani,hema,and vinit] who decided to walk out of the challenge. when debojit got yellow card that time also he got 73% vote form NE and last time also he got 75% vote. why did they not raise the objection that time. after seeing the nihira's elimination and ID's frustration on public NE vote percentage has been increased by 5%. so there is constant good vote percentage is being given to debo when he was in yellow light as well as in green light.
Such a talented singer like nihira kept herself cool and and in a well dignified way she thanked her mentor and a word on her parents and ID was standing silent near nihira. There was no any drama that time . when debo was given 6 and 7 by AS and HR he was frustrated and left the show in a huff to show that injustice to his last challenger cannot be tolerated. That was right decision taken by ID and I support him for that action. but now Himani's attitude is very disgusting.
Has anybody observed how vinit's father uttering at a lady sitting in back row telling 'you bloody keep quiet'[to mrs debojit I think] and vinit's mother was controlling vinit's father behave yourself and dont utter such words with ladies . This is the good sanskar vinit's parents are having. look at how nihira's mother dignifiedly gave her comments on the show and gracefully accepted the voting result. why others are not accepting it gracefully. Before they become star they are behaving in this way. once if they become a star what will happened god knows. These kids have been misguided by their mentors and mentors are making drama as if they dont know what is all happening in show. very unfotunate..

I don't blame anyone.It must me an emotional moment for all of them.The concept of public voting doesn't yield good results.The % of votes,from the past 2-3 episodes itself shows that majority of the votes are from their native states.I feel the final 5 should be judged by the professional music directors and singers. Even the judging should be strict,not just singning film songs but also private songs/folk songs.

Well for all of them who missed the show it was pretty good as it was full of high drama which we as audience love to see 😆. The show ended abruptly "TO BE CONTINUED..." with the director "Gajendra Singh" comes on the stage to mediate.

Well if the rules say that you can send "MULTIPLE SMS VOTES" meaning one person can send 1000+ votes this in itself means RIGGING the results big time. Its not a new rule to which they should be objecting cause they must have also got multiple votes and which is why they are in the TOP 4.

Encouraging your candidate and promoting them and asking for votes is in the format of the show. But should not be done explicitly 😆.

I (please note its my personal opinion) think what would be best for the larger interest and fair result remove "Multiple voting". Though we all know its going to be a tough call for the channel and show producer as that is one more way how they get MONEY. But this can also be compensated if they increase their advertisement rates (just an idea).

Thank you all for posting on this topic and sticking to the point. May be we see few of us quoted on the newspapers on what do the public think about these Reality Shows 😆

I am from US. Have never voted for any show. HAve always watched saregama since 1997(I think). Firstly if the public voting system is introduced then it should be respected (In the words of the non other than ** HR). There I agree with him. A vote from an Indian is a vote whatever region.

When Pundit jasraj was juding between Debo and vinit he choose Debo. I guess Pandit ji knows better than the HR ** and his chella.(go back a see the episodes again.)

There were better singers then these 4, (shareeb, Viswas, swananda to name a few).I think the public knows that.
I am a bengali and loved Himani and Hema and never liked to hear vinit
and debo was not in my list at all but now I think they have shown their character. I will be happy to listen to a good person with a good voice rather then a bunch of slffish idiots with excellent voice. MAy god bless them and make Debo the winner of the contest.

I do not agree with the three leaving the contest for no good reason to justify.It is a competetion,right or wrong the challenge has been accepted.
Basically i feel the mistake is in public voting at this stage when precision decision has to be made.I totally agree that the decision has to be made by a jury of 5 to 10 eminient judges who know the subject.
It is really unfortunate the Indian public are voting like they vote in elections for parliament.Music is a art no sentiments, caste creed religion or region should bias the judgement of calibre of a profesional singer. Indian public has always recognised the right candidate in art.I cannot say who is right who is wrong.
For me it is a great shock the voting result of last week in which NIHIRA lost.It is unfortunate she did not get the people support.At least I believe the 5 out of the laast six where correct choice .

I just finished watching the Thursday show on the TV and I am deeply confused.

Was this threat of quitting by the three contestants a farce or it is true?

Is it a drama enacted to glue us viewers or is it actually what has transpired?

If it is not a gimmick, then I must say the three contestants and their mentors have truly shown very poor character.

1) Firstly, I would like to comment on Adesh Srivastav's jibe at Debojit's votes.

If he wants to say that 80% of the votes he gained were from the North East.... and that is gross injustice.. thats absolutely a rotten crib. The contestant who scores the maximum number of votes comes first. Period.

Its not the contestant who has the pan-India presence who will come first.Hence his crib of Debojit getting first because he gets 80% from NE India is absolutely childish.

Debojit has always got his maximum votes from the North East. Why has he not cribbed till now?

Adesh, wake up ! You are a mentor and not a competitor. Dont speak like a child who cribs at coming third in the 100m sprint while the guy who came first was taller than him !!! Please learn to appreciate talent !

2) Secondly, if contestants want to walk out, its fine. They deserve to be kicked out. They lack the character to take on pressure and are behaving like a bunch of trade union workers. If at this stage in life they have started applying pressure tactics, they surely dont deserve to move ahead in their chosen profession. They are a bunch of poor losers. I am surprised at the fact that Vinit has the guts to indicate to Mr. Ismail Darbar that he too can judge the quality of the singers. It all seems to be reeking of a drama enacted by the mentors of these competitors. Certainly , this is not expected from a show of this calibre. I have been watching this show since 1997 and I have never felt so let down. I truly feel , that there is a need to stress on character building too within these contestants. Nihira and Paresh, truly were examples of how true winners should behave when they face a losing propostion.

3) Thirdly, Mr Ismail Darbar was right in voicing his opinions. He never put anyone from the rival camps down. He stated his anguish at the less votes Nihira got. He never asked why someone got more votes. He protested to us viewers but not to the mentors or their pupils. I feel he is a man of character and he is a true human being. Himesh is blind in his love for Vinit that he feels he can manipulate us by his silly sentiments and make Vinit the winner. Vinit might truly deserve to be one, but he surely does not need Himesh to be so vocal about it and behave like a cheer-leader.

Lastly, I feel this has been engineered by Himesh and Adesh just to humiliate Ismail Darbar; if this is so, they have lost sight of the aim of the show and made puppets of these three pupils . Hemachandra seemed to be forced into it. The hatred for Debojit which Himesh has routinely displayed is truly obnoxious.

I feel we have robbed Debojit of his day under the sun when he got the highest number of votes.

Perhaps you could involve the best playback singers like Lataji, Asha ji , Kavita Krishnamurthy and eminent musicians to be part of the jury and then select the best contestant. Enough of this SMS voting. I felt truly let down. I have really felt cheated. I wasted my time watching the drama of mutiny of these three contestants.

Asha, i have also heard Vinit's dad saying those words which is quite disgraceful be it for Mrs Debojit or any one. If the father is so, then what sanskar he can give to his sopne hence the entire DRAMA

i actually missed todays show. So could some on just brief me as to what happened in today's episode. I heard the 3 walked out. Then wat happened next?
