I am in US so will get to watch on monday. Can some one post what finally happened. did 3 of them came back or they just left the contest? There should be one vote from one person.

First of all it was not a proper decision taken by Hem,Himani and Vineet. They couldnt even give proper reason for quitting out.

I seriously dont like public voting. Over that multiple voting! Some people vote seeing the contestant talent....but large number of people vote seeing their performance, looks and its really unjustice to contestants. Since the show is based on public voting..whoever goes out everyone must accept it. What if a good singer goes out...it doesnt end their career.

I think its all because of Ismail Darbar...these high drama's are happening. When Nihira was voted out...she is out of show. I know she is very good singer but as this is contest only one is winner. Nihira going out doesnt mean that she is out of music world...Ismail Darbar leaving the show was really so dumb (no offence to Ismail fans). I think that its because of Ismail's action these people thought of quitting.

If Vinit, Himani & Hema walked out from the show becuz of Debojit's 80% votes then I think they did the right thing...its really unfair if the judges are declaring the winner on the basis of public VOTES....I am not saying that Debojit is a bad singer but Vinit-Hema-Himani deserve more than him cuz ther r better singer than him,infact Nihira too was better than Debo...Its very obvious that Debo is going to win on the basis of regional votes so whats the use of the contest now? I think Mentors should decide who is the best singer and who will win or they should bring some proffessional classical singer who could decide, public votes are useless. 😡

I think mentors also must not decide...they must get some really well know musician/singer to judge and give marks.

wat if Himani/hema/vinit got the same vote as Debojit???Wud you have mentioned tht its Assam singer/Haryanvi Singer/UP Singer/ Andhra Singer. It shud not have been left to only public voting the system itself is wrong, so why blame Debojit or his stateman

How can we say tht Himani/Hem/Vinit are better singer???Himani is a good singer no doubt, Hem is also gud but did he perform everytime? n wat abt Vinit?Overconfident???? he feels always tht he is the best if a contenstant himself feels so then wats the purpose for this contest???

I would love to say its the arrogance of the 3 kids but somehow, I dont feel that they would have dared to take this step in this national stage unless (mis)guided by one of the mentors. Why did no one ever walk out when Sharib/Swananda/Nihira were eliminated?
Also, if the show is all about discovering talent, I would even eliminate all voting (but then Zee loses on SMS revenue) and only bring some well respected musical directors to be the judges. It'll have to be someone of the stature of Shiv-Hari because, as we have seen, even someone like Khayyam saaheb was not spared when some of the mentors did not agree with his decision.
Regarding regionalism, I would only say that Zee has brought this upon themselves ever since they started disclosing the regionwise voting patterns. They've always encouraged the competitors to ask for votes from their region (sometimes even in their native languages). They're now just reaping what they themselves sowed...
I guess saregamapa has finally started its slide from being a talent contest to a TRP ratings context...

i think it was studidity on the part of Vinit, Himani , Hemachandran to just walk out. Debojit got the max. votes but he hasnt been declared the winner rite?

All the contestants know they one of them will get eliminated n its purely on the people's vote then y make a fuss over it.

If i am not mistaken , in Fame gurukul qazi was always rescued by public votes. Apart from singing luck shld also favour u . Hardwork n luck go side by side.

I think the involment of the music directors is a bad step. i have seen so many reality based shows n none of such dramas has happened
Or it cld also be a case of publicity stunt just to gain max. TRPs. Who knows???

i believe the system is wrong as well, the public voting is not coming into effect in a positive way, it is leading to negative outcomes.

i bleieve the voting should have been takin into account by other singers NOT the mentors ( since they would most likely favour their students) and not the general public ( sincei think it would turn into a populatiry concept!)

these singers are doing a great job, but as for requesting votes for certain ones i believe is toally unfair and unacceptable ! its a nice thing to request it for their student but they should stopping pushing it too much

since they are down to the final 4 contestants i believe public voting should be takin offline altogether and they should get a actual Jury ... i think this would be the best action for them to take
Hemani is a awesome singer and debo getting 80% of the votes ... something is not right ... hes a good singer but not the greatest

those are my thoughts on this issue =) 😕

1. Public voting should be discontinued. Majority of the public does not understand what music or singing is, otherwise Nihira Joshi would not be eliminated. 2. If a candidate walks out, that should automatically eliminate that candidate. 3. One should solicit votes based only on the singing capability and not on any love affairs - and that too at the tender age of 17! There is something wrong with Vineet and his mentor.
