Now my question to these brave contestants are, where was your fighting spirit when Nihira received the lowest number of votes. Why didn't you walk out then? Did you all really think that you all were better than Nihira and Nihira was undeserving. Or you all were happy that someone more knowledgeable than your unethical mentors is out of your way.

So why did they walk out now because their so-called undeserving candidate got the highest votes or they are scared to the bone.

I was stunned by the audacity of that dwarf Vineet. How did he dare to call Debojit undeserving? Does he think he is the best singer there? And how did he get that idea: because his backboneless mentor who does not understand ABCD of music said so. Let me tell you one thing, you self destructing arrogant 17-year-old kid that in India Pandit Jasraj ji is the last word in music, and you have LOST to the same "so called undeserving" Debojit in SaReGaMaPa Fame 2005 just six months back. And that time public was not the judge, Pt. Jasraj ji was. SO DON'T YOU EVER DARE TO THINK THAT DEBU IS UNDESERVING. You will have to take two more births to perform the "Alaaps" and the "Sargams" that Debojit performed in the Qawali round. First learn to be a good human being and appreciate good music and talents, then claim that you are a good musician.

I always loved Himani's and Hemu's performance. Now I am ashamed to know that they followed Vineet too. I have few observations for you Hemu.

It is OKAY that your family spends 2 lac rupees on advertisement, but it's a CRIME when Debojit gets more votes than you. It is OKAY that you ask for votes in Telegu, but it's a CRIME when Debojit ask for votes in Assamese and Bengali.
1. Its OKAY that you get 40% of your votes from four states (AP, TN, Karnataka, and Kerala) from the southern part of India, but it's a CRIME when Debojit gets 70 % of his votes from seven states from the north east part of India. Where the rest of India is concerned both of you got pretty much the same percentage of votes.

I expected more class from you and Himani.

Call me Devil's Advocate but these are few things my friends that we need to think of before we vote the next time.

Absolutely well said apparaohoare, But I think the mentors must have given the courage to take this step. I really hate to see what a ugly mess this show has become.

With due respect to you Varshaji, I'd like to disagree with you. People feel that Debo stopping midway between words and starting the alaap or starting a new phrase in the beginning of the Qawwali was a slip of his song and the he messed up.
I'll tell you..it wasn't a mess up. This Qawwali was sung by FIVE main singers, and they brought in that element of chaos. There were a lot of overlapping layering done. Debo, with one voice, tried to bring in that effect. Please don't mistake it for slipping up in sur. He was a cut above the rest. Certainly better than Vineet and Hema. Well, I say Hema, because Hema sung a very easy Qawwali compared to Debo. His Taans and Sargams were the best I've heard at this level in a LONG time. Infact I say, his sargam-taan part was better than what Nihira has sung here. Debo was the underdog. After seeing Nihira getting ousted, it takes a real man's balls to attempt that song and sing it that well.
The one thing that went against him was that he had the lyrics in front of him. That was why Jatin have him a 9.
Walk proud Debo, walk proud, man!!

wow everyone gets really worked up over this contest, theres no need to get so defensive over debojeet, if you think he's an excellent singer than thats your opinion but you dont have to criticize the other participants. I'm not saying the Debojeet is a bad performer or singer, and I dont have a problem with him getting all his votes from one region, but just because he comes from a poor background, thats not the proper reason to vote for him. I think he has a heart of gold and he seems like a very genuine and honest person but I dont think he compares to the other singers. The point of this contest was to find a good playback singer that we will like to listen too. And I think this contest has become too personal now, everyone is just obsessed with winning and we're not concerned about finding the right performer. But of course this is a public voting, and it makes sense to have public voting because in the end its the public that decides the success of the music. And at this point the participants have become so involved with the show that they also are feeling a bit scared and are therefore not acting in a proper manner. I personally think that Vinit is an excellent performer and I would vote for him to win, but that is my opinion and even if he doesnt win, then whoever wins I will accept that decision. Although I must say that if Debojeet wins, I'm not sure I would want to listen to him doing playback singing for the heroes. But you never know, he may be able to really pull through in the studio. Lets just hope for the best and leave the rest up to God.

the kids are being really stupid and selfish..i mean they had to get thru soooo many ppl 2 get to this moment.. from 32 contestants to 4..and many of the deserving candidates got voted out (nihira..sharib).. now they have the audacity to walk-out.. when sooo many deserving ppl didn't have any choice but to leave the contest..itz a shame.. i expected this kind of drama on other shows..but not srgmp
