good explanations r being given ....but once the inside story is gonna be declared then i feel many r gonna regret for being against their fav's.everyone in this post r saying that why didnt the contesetants walk out when nihira got out but i really feel there was iniciation of mentors and they also play the foundation role in this walk out.....think once...any contestant wouldnt walk out all by him/herself from the show [17 year olds] ....to the biggest extent they would hav burst out crying on the sets or just saying that i cant go out of the show......imaginations hav crossed extents to say that they hav walked out all by themselves...they will even keep their career and image in mind bfore they do something...as someone told in the previous posts that these contestants r mature enough to know......they r also mature enough to realiseh wat they r doing will affect their career...and without the mentors support they wouldnt hav done anything ...cos many of the contestants openly hav said that to be in the final four is a big bug and they wouldnt regret for the happenings...and on my observations ...there was more tension for the mentors than the kids during results...ever saw ID hurrying up shaan for the results......i don say that they shouldnt be tensed but all this makes people think that even mentors play a major role for the walk out..and please people dont beleive the dirty tricks played by zee and lose ur favourite contestant.......once a fan...be a fan ever[hema/vinit/himani/debo whoever mit mayb]there is no use in regretting abt it later.........

All I am questioning is why be so harsh on the kids. Shouldn't your anger be at the ones who instigated them to do it.

Would you have also felt this amount of antagonism if anyone else was in Debojit's shoe, say Vinit?

I get the feeling that all of the uproar is because it was done against your favorite mentor/contestant.

And I will not even comment on the question you had asked. Looks like you will go to any extent to justify your point.

Let me tell you one thing whocares that I am not a Debojit fan. I was a Nihira fan.

As you know that the mentors were against Debu from the begining and did not leave any chance to put him down with there negative comments, inspite Debu being an excellent singer.

And my answer to your question is YES I would have shredded Debu or anyone else if the roles were reversed.

At this point of the contest the BEST SINGER is out and I don't care who wins. Debu, Hema and Himani are of more or less same calibre. But I personally feel Vineet is not the top 4 material. But still if he was in Debu's shoes I would have done the same what I did now.

Whatever these contestants have done is DISGRACEFUL and disgrace to music. They don't deserve anything good after this.

You are totally right again dude. It doesnt matter that theirsomeone told them to do it. They have free will, they didnt have to listen. All they had do was accept the truth and show that they still have some class. Walking out like that was the worst thing they could do. In fact they may even lose their chance of staying in the show. So it was their choice and their mistake and it doesnt matter who orchestrated it.

this is turning into some sort of a serial...part 1 on thurday and part 2 on friday.

Me too. They used to have this show called SRGM Classic but they
stopped that as well. They should try a new money making scheme by
putting selling seasons on DVD and making money a legitimate way
rather than exploiting teenagers.

There is no way some adult (probably with the consent of GS) did not
orchestrate this walkout. Where is that relative of Chandu's to defend
him? I would not even be surprised if Debo knew about the whole thing
in advance -- this show is so cheesy these days.

17 on Sunday.

"It wasn't what I'd call a fun birthday….not in the way it used to be at
home in Lucknow," Vinit sounded down in the dumps.

"In the morning all of us Sa Re Ga Ma Pa contestants went for the
Marathon run. Then I had to record for the show. So there was no time for
any birthday celebrations. But in the night my colleague Himani got me a
cake, and we all had a flash party."

Though they're the same age, Himani mollycoddles Vinit and looks after
him constantly.

Though Vinit's mom was in Mumbai he wasn't allowed to meet her. "There
was no time to meet Ma…But yes, the love of my life was here…That was
my gift. We've code-named her Shantabai on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. So that no
one gets to know her real identity," the streak of mischief surfaces in the
baby of the show.

So how does it feel for Vinit, who many feel, will finally energe the winner,
to be 17? "I feel this year has been a turning-point for me. I'm just 17 and
I'm already known all over , thanks to Sa Re Ga Ma. I don't know how to
handle all this attention."

Vinit who has already recorded songs for Himesh Reshammiya has now
decided to make Mumbai his home…for better or worse. "Until the finals
on Feb 10 , I can think of nothing except singing. And after the finals I
can think of only….singing," he burst out laughing.

It was published today so if they are all going for a run together and he is
still in the running -- well that walk out seems a little fake now don't you
think? This is proof that the adults are controlling this whole thing.

A very balanced post as always mdroy ji. I agree with you - we should direct our anger towards the "respected" mentor who orchestrated this walkout.

Talking of saregama classic, kya yaad dila di aapne... I remember the ones (about an year ago) for Shreya Ghosal, Sneha Pant, Sanjeevani - who else was featured?

why does everyone keep blaming vinit? he was NOT the only one who said something, so did Hema, so leave vinit alone, and if you're going pick on him for this conservation then don't forget everybody else who was there, in my mind the walkout was their opinion
