Like many people on this forum, I am also very upset now that Nihira has been eliminated. Many people blame this on Gaji. They say he has been rigging the votes. I don't think all the blame lies on Gajji.

A lot of blame for this goes to Ismail Darbar and Nihira's song choice. Ismail Darbar choose a song for Nihira which was very difficult but not something the audience would vote for. I could appreciate the singer but I did not like the song. Ismailji should have picked a song for Nihira which would have showcased her talent and a song which the audience would like. This was not a song that people could relate to... like Nihira's I love you performance...

Maybe if ID had chosen a better song for Nihira, the way HR choose for Vinit (which got to people's heart), she might have still been there.

Tell me, after hearing that song, did you feel like jumping and voting ???

Too bad these decisions cannot be reversed... 😭 😭

Sorry I do not agree to what you are saying. I just watched the episode and I must say that Nihira was awesome to say the least. And so was Himani. Both the girls were favulous today. The songs were both very tough and the girls rendered them beautifully. If India's "aam junta" cannot understand true music its their loss. As far as Nihira's elimination is concerned...well like many others I too believe that its actually a blessing in disguise. Winning this competion may have tied her to ZEE but now she is free to sing songs from other chanels/music directors/audio companies. My best wishes are for them both, and I am sure that they are "lambe race ki ghora" . Challenge 2005 will not and can not deciede their future. They will shine for sure!!!!

I just saw the program....ID supporting HIMANI that too at this stage of the contest. It's his goodness that he supports openly...but not at the cost of his own contestent!!
And the AV shown about Nihira was negative!!!!

I think the ID and the AV are the factors of Nihira's loss!!!!!

I think you are bang on with your comment. Just finished watching the show - and those were my exact comments as the song ended.
The emphasis on the song selection was on technical difficulty and Nihira did full justice. However, when looking for public votes - there is some marketing involved and this was not a song that masses would relate to or possibly vote for.
Actually I found both of ID's selections (for Debo as well) kind of questionable.... Jaykay

But I donot agree with you atall. Ismail's choice was awesome and Nihira was just perfect in that song. It was very difficult song and as ISmail said that "Aaj tak jo bhi yeh gaana gaaye, woh haare hain". Nihira was just mindblowing. What else can I say now?.............

I agree with SpaceCity. ID started acting ridiculous the past few weeks and constantly kept praising Himani...let Aadesh do that. I never see Aadesh or HR saying anything really for Nihira. Her performance was just mindblowing... I mean she always just leaves me speechless after she performs. Why is ID leaving the show now? He should have acted a little smarter before like AS and HR do.

nihira and himani both performed superbly(to take a superlative from HR ;-) )....they did a great job....hema sang beautifully..... vinit was ok as usual...but i think the song is such a patriotic one that everyone gets moved by emotions...kapil was no exception...we all know vinit sings sonu nigam's songs well....
this is just my opinion...i dont intend to start a fight......

I TOTALLY AGREE, THE SONG WAS BAD, I TOO HAD NEVER HEARD THAT SONG EVER B4....BUT SHE SANG GR8, WISH PEOPLE WLD HAVE GONE FOR HER VOICE AND NOT THE SONG.

GS had given us the message thereby setting the stage for Nihira's Red Light - I watched 4 messages which I received very well:
1. ID starts by saying "Jab Jab yeh gana logon ney gaya hai voh bahut burey tara Harey hain
2. NJ's AV shows her dancing poorly, biting her nails and everyone saying "Dance ka kuch relation hee nahin hai uske saath" (Negative marketing)
3. ID went to stage to Bless the competitior HK (whose side is he on)
4. HR says at end, vote for Nihira "yeh na sochna key koi aur vote karega uska liyey"

Oh Boy, GS was lowering our expectations so openly – the writing was on the wall.
KHALAAAAAAAAS…..
