Debojit. Debojit! Debojit?

Hmmmmm....I keep wondering, how I spared this dude! 🤔

Actually, what got me was the fact that what really ID can do to the students he trains. I was simply amazed at the onset that how can anybody polish a plain stone; for this prerogative lies with the carbon named diamond. Enough on ID, now on Debo.

As far as his singing vis-a-vis other singers in the competition is concerned, he is the best. Absolutely no doubts about it (I take jhumru as his best as well as one of the contest's best performances). There are other things that go against him and go a great deal!!

First, he has failed to present a somewhat wider image of himself. He is from a 'chota gaon' and behaves like one. His 'uttar-poorvanchal' is what got on my nerves at first. He is an inborn 'dhilla-nath'-- better to call him dhillujit. So is his voice. Little can be done to produce a tinkle in it. His surs (if he trains just 100%)are better than the other boys on the SRGMPC stage. But, he is a bit complacent (know dhillujit?). Their, he starts crying over the bsnl line-jam, here he gets more votes (that too from his beloved uttar-poorvanchal).

Another thing that places him beside vinit is his going to an old-age home and crying his fullest there. Though I can discourse a full essay on the righteousness of the matter I would just limit it to a nice example: If I am going to be crowned with the 'Miss Universe' crown, I will kiss black, nose-dripping, slum children on their mouth (you can make it nose). But, when it comes to adopting a child, I will certainly choose from beautifully dressed lovely flowerlike kids....Essence is, if there is a passion for such things, go for it but not let know it (prose intended). -- 'morei man mein base ghanshyam; mandir jahe ka kya kaam'

I think, I have started on wrong track....let me stop here, or else the poor kid will remain with nowhere to go.

Perhaps Debojit is the best thing to have happened to North-East.His success on the national stage is a clear reflection of the untapped talent available in the far-flung corners of North East India.Perhaps the show should give a boost to the much hyped Look East policy chartered out by the Government from time to time.
Thanks Sa Re GA Ma Pa.

Debojit has a raw untrained voice. Hope he gets eliminated soon. Does not deserve to win against Hema, Vineet or even previously eliminated Sharib, Nihira, Swanada.

He has been very lucky to come this far after his inconsistent performances. If he wins it will be like Qazi winning Fame Gurukul. Though I have to say he sings better than Qazi.

I always felt that this guy has the potential to develop into the Kishore Kumar mould. I dont much care if he wins the contest, but I'd love to hear more of him , so its good if he wins it. I dont much understand the technical aspects but his voice sounds so melodious, so damn romantic ...hope I get to buy his cd's in the future. God bless him.
