Right.........Himani has a strong ability to win this contest but her none of the songs sounded better then the original one. This girls sings very well and one more thing I appreciate her is that she is very bold and rarely gets nervous and dares to attempt harder songs and that may help her. But to be frank with you from my three to four years experience of music, I would say that her none of the songs sounded better then the original. But yes, she performs very well while singing. So This girl is fit for some stage programmes, LIVE IN CONCERT as she has that personality of performing and singing. She can become actress/singer as she performs well too like SALMA AAGHA once upon a time.

Ok I respect your choice and opinion of Himani. But I still very much liked her version of Jiya Dhadak to the original. And how can you be so sure that she will sound bad in the recording studio? If one can sing so well live - the recording studio is a piece of cake! It makes the worst singers sound soo perfect.

Himani has a great personality and just because the girl has good presence does not make her a bad singer. The same goes to Nihira. Just because she stands in one place and sings - it does not mean she does not derserve to win either.

I am not very pleased with this topic because the main aim here is to run Himani's down. Picking on Himani won't prove that Nihira is better or vice versa.

I don't think that she sounded better than the original but I don't think that
was a the right song for her - -in her genre, she is great -- the hulle hulare
song was fab!

Well I was just deducing what was written in the post by saregama. If my tone was rude, I apologise. My questioning her post was in no way a retaliation, it was with intent to encourage a debate. I have never picked on any participant of Saregamapa, and since I do like Himani - I think some people are just being over critical of her. Please don't assume that I dislike Nihira - she has immense talent and I do like her too and would have no problems if she won the competition.

About the moderators - I feel the mods are trying their best to monitor all the post on the forum. Its not an easy job to go through every msg and post. They live in different zones and have other jobs besides just moderating on this forum. Therefore, I will not encourage any undue criticism of them. If we were all sensitive to others on the forum and refrained from provoking post - we would really need no moderaters. Well this is just my opinion - No Offense Meant.

I loved her singing, she was awesome!! It was one of her best performances!!

Tisha Bhatia you said it right. If we all behaved we would not need moderators. But we still would need teachers and police to keep an eye out for the bad students and discipline them. So be good and santa will be good to you next X-Mas 2006. How does that sound??
