I dont remember all of the songs that Keka sung but the one that I really remember (and loved) was the title song from Baseraa...

That song was title track of Basera, riddler actually I had a wonderful collection of Pancham's 80s work which are by & large less known, this is a melancholic song by Lataji, ...Keka sang it very well..

Great post Niraj! Especially about Sharib. Ideally, i too would have liked to have seen Sharib and Hema battle it out...and then Nihira and Himani.

In terms of versatality, Hemachandra is definitely on top. About Vinit, I still feel give him three to four years and he might be a great, versatile singer...look how Sonu Nigam has branched out now...but right at this point, Vinit doesn't really have a voice that stands out.

Whenever Gulzar and RDB got together, the result has been a masterpiece ... whether it be Masoom, Izzazat or even Basera ....
