Wow. Kapil Dev is my fav crickter & greatest all rounder India has ever produced till now...Not sure if he knows music though...But i think it's ok...It's public voting and mentors are really judges and guests are just special appearences to add Masala...

When an Actress like Anjali who is doing her first movie can come as a guest why can't the India's great all rounder come as a special guest...i m looking forward to it..

Is tat true tat kapil is gonna come? some ppl r saying he shudnt come as judge but tell me how far u ppl think the audience who r voting have gud knowledge in music even v? i am not saying he is gud in tat, but when u can agree diya n etc as guest, who also dont have much knowledge than y not kapil.
lets c how he comments on the performance which shows how gud he is.

Come on folks, if "aam janata" can judge the singers by public voting, then why not Kapil -- the greatest sportsperson that India has produced in the last century and our World Cup hero?

Kapil has given all of us immense joy with his superlative performances with bat and ball and I would love to see him as a guest judge on the show. Afterall, he is just going to give his comments and that is fair. And what do you think of those newbie dancers and actors of few films that came on the show? Just because they can act/dance does not mean that they know music very well. I didn't even know some of them. If they can come on the show, then why not our super popular sports star? Afterall this is a reality show and the stars of the media and sports world are called just to add glitter to the show.

So Jai Ho tumhari Kapil Bhai. We await to see you on the show!!!

Man, Himesh cannot become an umpire because Cricket is a serious business and they don't call public to judge the game. C2005 is a fun reality show where public is deciding the fate of the talented singers so Kapil is just the one super popular representative of public. So everything is fair here.
