Niraj and Adwarakanath have very good logic and dailogue flowing. I can speak from experience when I say young artists are very melow and respectful because they are hungry for work. It is hard for me to believe that Nihira, who has been around the block, will be egotistic. She bites her nails so I infer she is nervous. She is shy - her love is God. I think the noble and honorable Daler misunderstood her shyness for arrogance that shocked Nihira and her Dad, I must add. WE all know Daler is not a mind reader and to make a statement like that reflects more on Daler than on Nihira. i will repeat again what I have always said about Nihira:
Her Voice captivates, her hard work motivates and her passion ………….
She is the diamond in rough – a Blue Diamond.
If RK were alive today, he would say this to Nihira:
Satyam, Shivam, Sundaram
I hope when this Nightingale wins this contest, they play RK's favorite song in the background : "Ishwar Satya hai, Satya hi Shiv hai, Shiv hi sundar hain"

BTW: ARR is very fond of warthemes, now listen to harmonic progression in title theme of thiruda thiruda...he is another person after Salil who has been using Western classical nuianses to fullest.
Also Illaiya Raja used this in verses not in vocals.

Very interesting reading compared to the usual done to death boring reads about the topi, paresh s loud mom in law, Hemas overenthu dad etc.
Keep up the good work

Shukriya/Thanks........😳

Yes this is 100% true all musicians who have fascination for western classical adore Salil chaudhary.

Agree whole heartedly. Salilda infact used to listen to western classical symphonies during his childhood in Assam of which Mozart was his favourite. No wonder, western classical music played such a role in his compositions. Infact his music was all about wonderful melodies with close-knit orchestration.

For me "Madhumati" remains his best hindi film composition to date ... (not demeaning "Anand" by any means)

In case of bengali movies, he did everything by himself. He always wrote his own songs. He wrote the lyrics, composed the melody, the background, the prelude and the interlude, wrote down the notation and the chord-charts ....

Probably the greatest music director of India .... not to forget his contribution to southern cinema ... especially malayalam cinema.
