Why is Sugandha being so underrated??

Sugandha being multitalented is getting extra air time in each and every episode to perform her mimic act.

In addition to singing talent she is able to showcase her mimic talent too on the show.

Jab arguement ka jawab nahi hota hai to it is easy escape route by posting adjectives.

Farak sirf itna hai kuch log angreji adjectives daalte hai aur kuch log MIDs se sudh gaaliyan.

In every type of competition, fans try to support their favorites by hook or by crook

and

then wait " which way the wind blows"

abinitia, we like everybody and later just one or two

At this stage, all are equally good.

Honestly or otherwise, who does less mistakes in song, is winner

Even then, all these formulae, votes or different supports are in vain

because organizers have full authority to choose top three and then best one

I assume that votes are helping financially and not finding winner

Votes of judges/guests have great role in deciding winners

Sonu never mimics Udit Narayan or Kishore Kumar's voice while singing a song. Sonu sings in his own voice.

Sugandha does try to sing in the voice of the original singer while singing and for that reason her voice changes within a particular performance.

Baat phir wohi apne voice main gao mota, patla. husky its fine.

I must respectfully disagree. I have been watching these musical shows for many years, and usually there is some aping/imitating (think the multiple covers of Tuhi Re and any Kishore Kumar #, etc...) by the contestant singing a cover of a popular number. I listened to Sugandha's performance multiple times and I did not at all hear any extreme imitation of Asha Bhosle. Firstly they both have very different voice textures. I would say that Rini had a similar voice texture to Asha so sometimes it seemed like she was imitating Asha B. I am really not sure why Sugandha was singled out for this issue.

As for Sonu (whom I LOVE), he has given countless interviews on how in his early career he was a Rafi clone but then for some songs he would imitate SPB -- I think it takes some time to really find your own style and I would go further and say that a singer should be versatile in the use of their voice. Isn't that what a playback singer is? I remember Sunidhi saying something like that in an interview. I mean why would she sing a light song with a tappa voice -- would that not be wierd? Here is where I think that Sugandha is better than both Abhilasha and Sniti (both of whom I really like) as she is versatile.

I just remembered Asha Bhosle talking about imitating Geeta Dutt while her sister Lata tried to imitate Noor Jehan in their early careers -- not to mention all the Kishore Kumar clones (suspiciously all Bengali) that popped up in the 90's and the early 2000's. Yes -- suddenly I think given the history of the Indian music industry, I think that there is no room for criticizing this young lady.

Going back to Sugandha, I am more concerned that her song selection does not showcase her talent in any voice.

Imitate is done by one who admires

Mimicking is often to make fun or ridicule

But say what we may Sungandha is super talented in many areas

I think she will be a great success

I have never seen anyone with so much talents in so many areas

Also she is very good looking.

and also she is very gentle

hard worker, have great respect and qualities

to acheive goals

sound of conch shell is very very difficult which she did easily
