Yes, I appreciate Ranjit for his passion for ghazals, it is so difficult to maintain this in this Bollywood music dominated era, hope he improves on deficiency & shines up.

I some times wonder whether the show is completely scripted. In last evening's episode Ranjit was completely off key (besura) yet the montors were unanimous in their praise! It leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

He wasn't besura!
My mother is a classically trained singer. She knows well =)

Ranjeet Rajwada started well as a young kid Ghazal Singer on this show and this forum and sitting down with his Harmonium and singing Ghazals and made many fans here on this forum who praised all his performances

.

As two three episodes passed people got tired of his Bazza and even planned to steal his bazza and a day came he became Ranjeet Baba from Ranjeet Rajwada. Slowly after singing more with Bazza he became Bazza wale baba from Ranjeet Baba and a day came when Nishita dropped a bomb and named Ranjeet Baba as Ghazaloo Baba.

After this things cooled down as he gave a rockstar performance on the song Bijuria but again he came on with his Bazza and this time around he became Petiwale baba.
Things became more interesting when Rajucole made a cute typing mistake and wrote Betiwale baba instead of Petiwale baba phir kya tha lage haathon musicmuse ne pooch liya Ranjeet ko beti kab hui.
People also imagined what will happen if he reaches the finals:

I dont mind listening to his ghazals in every episode since he is an amazing singer.
god bless.
with best wishes,

Ranjeet was very good when the show started perhaps the regular riyaz et al - SRGMP now-a-days does that to some good singers ; they go on a downward spiral.... not that he did but sometimes it feels that way.

Perhaps this was not the stage for Ranjeet, despite his talent , humility and sincerity (goodnes was I about to write dignity!!!) - he needs to be amongst peers who could challenge his range to motivate him to do better.
Despite all, it's wonderful that he showcases ghazals for the younger gen's.
