finding shortage of songs. repeating the same again and again show loss of confidence in attempting another song!!!!!!

I have completed my short written update and sorry for the delay.

The spark of the day was Rishiji and Neetu Kapoor.They were so sporting and not over doing it .

About all the contestants singing I would say no comments.

To be honest Rishi kapoor-neetu singh do not have really good songs together.So i feel under the circumstances the contestants couldn't do justice to their talent.

In todays episode singing by contestents is a disaster.

Abhilasha and Dipanwita did well singing some difficult songs of Lataji earlier in the show. The problem is not singing oldies or matching up to Lata, Kishore, etc; the trouble is that the contestants cannot concentrate on their singing in the middle of the nautankis, tamashas, uchhal kood and all other chaos on stage. Their situation is understandable. Yes, they can't sing like Lata, Asha, Kishore, Rafi, but they still have the talent to make us happy with old songs.

What a disaster!!! IMO except Shreyasi no one else lived upto the expectations. I never had any expectation from Sniti for a Lata song because neither her voice nor her style of singing suites these kind of songs. But Abhilasha, Dipanwita, Sugandha also didnt do justice..

Why Abhilasha why??? It is her forte and I expected some fabulous singing from her. Her voice cracked even when the scale was not too high, she even missed sur at the end.

Dipanwita sang with falsetto and was sounding flat.

Sugandha also started with a falsetto hence sounded kansura for the mukhda but was good in the antara atleast. Why didnt Sekhar/Vishal point it out to her that she sounded flat for the first few lines unlike they did for some other contestants always..

Sniti lacked expressions but didnt miss sur this time. She was not involved in the song I felt.

Rini's voice sounded too husky to the extent of hoarseness and for that reason she even missed sur at many places.

Kamal's voice as well as his singing was good, but the performance seemed lacklusture due to lack of expression and Rini's voice.

Ranjeet's voice was awful for the song.

Khurram was good in the first performance but not upto the mark in the 2nd one.

Shreyasi's voice gelled very well and though I'm not a fan of her or Bisakh's singing, theirs was undoubtedly the performance of the day.
