Great singing by Abhijeet!


This song requires great energy and feel, and Abhijeet brings it. He has good expressions throughout. The actual singing isn't too difficult, but Abhijeet does a good job there. Nothing very impressive, but just good and does his part great.

He also has and has had great voice quality, which always helps. This song also requires a lot of different tones and good variety throughout. Abhijeet does all of this well.


Overall, good singing, but 1 plus for the great expressions.

Pretty much agree with SSK's comments but for one part where he says nothing impressive

too good job for selection of the songs OSO the movie and "Dhoom tanna"

but in this song i think the female voice is more and male is less soo some how disappointed about it
where is male lines??? we want more of the contestant singing not of the other singing
the song is awesome as i have said but not the lines of the male singing is going with soo this is a bad sign

I love the song Dhoomtana, its so energetic, I always feel like dancing. Abhijeets expressions are very good, & I must say his voice really suits Shahrukh the best. Enjoyed listening to it.

Vishal Shekher's retro futurism at its best. Leave it only to Farah to extract nothing but the best tunes for her debut film.

The song is full of energy, enthusiasm, style and substance. Abhijeet's and shreya ghoshal's high energy and attitude and the efforts poured in to make this track a worthy of a modern cult status has paid off. The beginning is spectacular. The way the 70s tunes are matched with the current ones is just amazing. The level of energy displayed just mesmerises you. Abhijeet just goes deep into this track and from the beginning to the end, there isn't a moment where you feel that he is going off key. The further the track progresses, it gets better and better.

Note some areas where he sings in one breath and most importantly, without loosing control of his sur. This is one high point. His sync with shreya is another high point. Both compliment each other well. Adding to the icing on the cake is the tune and the overall atmosphere of josh created in this track. It makes you dance instanteneously the moment you listen to it in high volume with maximum bass.

Some negligible errors notwithstanding, this track comes close to all round perfection for retro futurism music, a good blend of old and new by Vishal-shekher. And never has abhijeet sounded better. One of his career best hits. Superb tonal quality and energetic singing by shreya too.

Hmm... 2007 - is that recent enough?

I like this song for Shreya. I don't think I ever realize tht Abhijeet is actually singing it too. Chorus is nice, totally 70s music.
