o.k I jumped on this 1st thinking Shankar mahadevan's se hi shuru karu ...But this song ??....I really took pain to listen to this song in one go ....sometimes 2 positives don't result in positive ..This is one such instance ...

This song hasn't done any justice to a singer of shankar's stature ...I know that one should save the best for last but this song choice is a big let down....

I didn't rate this song coz I'm confused. How can we rate this? Two lines? We might as well rate one of his ad jingles, even they have more singing.

Sid came to me with a strong song for Javed Ali and Shankar Mahadevan. I told him I thought they were too strong for Round 1. And recommended him some other songs. Here is what he said

So he didn't change Javed's song (😕), and he said Urvashi was his 1st priority for Shankar anyways. He just didn't know if there was a hindi version or not. 😛

No remember my name is producerji. 😃 We actually have a mahaguru. mind-googling.

i rated this song only coz he sang only 2 lines.. for me this is not his debut song.. hardly any two lines sung by him.. can u change the song, if possible?

Again, a wonderful feet tapping song from the great ARR.. :)

Shankar's singing, although a limited portion, was good. It had a quick upward downward flow, which was balanced nicely. He was also a part of the backing vocals here. Expressions; a nice rockiness feel to it. He didn't have much scope to showcase his talent, but still he made this song complete in itself..

Would like to give a 7 out of 10..
