Though people may not blindly follow what HR says, but I think voting is influenced by mentors, and HR is doing a great job pushing Vineet. Vineet being good, is just fueling him further.

Hema is just too good, and is going to give a touch competition to Vineet. But without Mentor backing, Vineet could go higher, if he does not do any silly mistake.(but Junta does not care for details anyway!)

How talented vinit is, only time will tell, goin by number of such shows, we will have many Vinits & Hemachandra in a year now, as far HR's music is concerned if you like, just enjoy it.
Probably by now you know my opinion about Himeshji.
I love intelligent & effective use of instruments + melody, all this is present in oldies of Pancham & Illaiya Raja, that's what I listen to.
Presently I'm developing interest in Tamil because of Kartik Raja & AR Rehman.
Hindi music is orphan now with separation of JL.

HR's popularity made vinit a star after offering 2-3 films in each episode.and also he dont want to hear any thing from other mentors against vinit and he can countdown the mistakes and give low marks to other contestants.

HR is not a fool that he will ruin his carrer just to be one-up on other mentors... he knows he is investing in the right person and so he has given vinit the songs... u cant be more illogical if u say HR's popularity = votes for vinit... in that case HR's popularity shud = votes for ujjaini... why she got yellow??

i fully agree with you classy, i think HR is over rated, he should only act like a mentor, and i think he is taking bit seriously, and i think Sharib was better singer than paresh (pardesi babu) and vinit, the mentors they critisized vinit from day one, he wasn't that good singer, he's votes only because of HE,

thats why HR supports him even more coz all others want to pull him down...... and how can u expect the public to vote for him coz of HR i cant understand.... they vote for him coz they like him... if HR was the reason, they wud vote for ujjaini also....

But about HR's music: i have heard him say in an interview that he created aashiq banaya because he wanted to prove that the melody is still alive in songs today....😳

as far as HR is offering vinit all the songs of his film there is no need of mentometer (AS said in one episode if he gave 10 or 3 it not make any difference)here not only HR, Zeetv is also promoting vinit by editing some part as we can see the mentors are going to say some thing abt paresh after he sings but Zee went for break(last week RDX round when AS gave paresh 10 - uae episode)

ok... so zee is promoting vinit... but it is imposing hem on the viewers...

he is just an overrated music director
