I agree… I'm sure Nihira and Hemachandra got the same PERCENTAGE, not the same votes… When the numbers are so large, they must be doing some kind of rounding off.

If Nihira and Hemachandra got very close votes (in the range of .01 or .001 % ), then, wouldn't you rather have both of them stay in the competition ?? It would be a bigger tragedy if one of them was voted out based on such a miniscule margin…

The voting should be for the person you want out rather than the person you want to win. You could have two favorites and most of the time people tend to vote for their top choice and don't bother voting for their second choice, so the person you wanted out ends up staying and your second choice ends up leaving.

i still dont quite understand how nihira is could come in the bottom 3 ... Not only is she the best singer , but she is also from bombay if i am not mistaken. considering that she should be in top 3's . I think it really would be a shame if hem or nihira will be out at this stage of the competition .

Yes, that is also what I have been saying. This unreal, I keep thinking
that maybe people assume that these guys are always in so they try to
vote to save their favorite candidate who is trouble.

Zee is really screwed and if it is an elimination of the best to the worst
then I think that this show's reputation may be destroyed.

Not to start a fight but when I think about others who have less musical
talent than Nihira has in her pinky, it makes my blood boil. Regionalism
be damned. As far as I am concerned, all music loving Marathas should
be voting en masse to save Nihira as public service to their fellow Indians.
Same for South Indians (and yes I know that they are a diverse group) but
let's be honest. Statisically, they are more likely to be musical
knowledgable and should again save their follow Indian by supporting
Hema. No no - -even on a bad day, these two are better than others!

Please forgive my anger but this is really too much for anybody with a
musical education or background to take.

IT DOES NOT MATTER WHO ACCORDING TO US PERSONALLY IS A GOOD SINGER !!! When some one gets the least vote he/she SHOULD be out !! Why this politics of keeping everyone in and extending the competition week after week ... This is just for the money and they are just playing with the laid down rules.

WHENEVER anyone is out you will find posts out here saying how great he/she was ... fine... no one is doubting that... but fact is if he/she gets the least votes why should they be kept in the contest. If you sent 10 SMS votes this week.. you must have spent some money from your pocket... and Zee is just playing with you !! If I tell you this contest will go on for 120 weeks .. will you vote .. NO .. you wont ... we are voting because every week we want the person we support to move on ... and also get the feeling that out votes mattered !!

THIS IS RIDULOUS !! Less than a percentage ... WHY TALK OF PERCENTAGES ... talk of actual numbers.. with lakhs of votes ...

OK YOU CAN GIVEN THEM A LIFE ... now NEXT ROUND ADD both rounds votes and eliminate TWO !! Will they do that !!! NO !!

IF THEY ARE GOING TO SAVE THE PARTICIPANTS who they think are good ... why go for public voting ... ???

This way we all will lose interest and stop watching the show and if people stop watching .. the constestants lose a lot.. because more than the 2 year rent of a 2 bedroom house in mumbai.. its the recognition and love of the people that will help the contestants more.

First of all the rules are not fixed .. and that too, after they fix the rules, they will bend it to suit their fancies ... this is NOT FAIR !!

OHHHHH my god!!!I can't beleive that nihira and hemachandra got close to elimination😭. Whats happening at SRGMP? I thought atleast now b'coz of internet voting good singers won't get eliminated.But my guess was wrong. Two of the best singers in the competition getting yellow cards is unbeleivable! I'm glad that both of them are going for the next round.

How can rajiv get more votes? All the mentors except for AS always say that rajivs singing is not upto the mark and his voice is not fit for the song. Again all the elimination guesses were wrong. The person we think will get eliminated is surviving.

What do u mean what internet voting?? I saw on sifymax website as well in this forums that NRIS can cast their votes thru internet. How do u know these votes r not counted??

Zee has it's own foot in mouth situation, Gajender singh ji go carried away by stupid concept of public voting as in case of Fame Gurukul or Indian Idol.

None of those singers are in lime light who come by public voting. Sa Re Ga Ma shouldn't loose it's originality, as said before they should have judges from around India like Bhupen Hazarika, Gurdas Maaan, Ilayraja, etc...

I do not have anything against public voting, when all said and done, the public would be the one who would make or break a singer's career. But GSingh should not have based the elimination solely on public voting, it should have been a combination of public voting, the mentors marks and other guest judges who come on the competition and they could stuck with the previous format of singers/musicians as judges..

I totaly agree with you ... infact i agree with everyone here! It sreally dumb that the puclic didnt vote for quality singers like Nihira and Hem ... I mean what the heck ... what kind of show is this? the hunt for the wort singer? ZEE tv suggets they had a tie in the votes ... yeh right ... they can only fool indian politicians with that excuse. and the NRI voting thing online is fake ... cuz we vote upon the show we see which is a week late and so by that time our votes dont even count. Honestly this show is filled with crap wraped around in a gift box.
