HERO HONDA Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005

Having listened to the views of the members and recognised the number of musical experts who grace this forum, I have come to a number of conclusions:

1. Due to a number of unfair eliminations, SMS and phone voting is no longer a viable method of selecting the true winner of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005.
2. Due to inaccurate decisions and internal conflicts, judges will no longer be called on to the show.
3. Due to the time differences in broadcasting, the world-wide online voting on SifyMax will be disabled shortly.
4. ALL eliminations from Friday 9th December 2005 will be based on the outcome of this poll.

This has been unanimously agreed by the executive members of the production team.

The following conditions and rules apply:

• Only votes posted between 11pm Friday and 10am Monday will be counted.
• You only have one vote per week.
• If you use that vote outside of the voting times YOU WILL LOSE THAT VOTE.
• You must be a registered member of this forum.
• Challenge 2005 is not the same as the regular Sa Re Ga Ma Pa. You are encouraged to give votes based on a balance of:
• Sur
• Taal
• Vocal/visual Emotion
• Stage Presence
• Appearance
• Vote for the person you would like to win. NOT the person who you think 'needs' the votes.

We hope this decision meets with the approval of the memebers here and I would like to apologise for any inconveniences.

Wow! Gaj-ji here...so who is going to be here next? I think shortly we will find Ismail Darbar, Adesh, Jatin Lalit and Himesh Reshmmiya here giving expert comments now that they will not be called on the show. Then the contestants will come here requesting votes from all of us...And then Shaan will come here to read the poll and announce the results for the world. What more? Now that's the power of India Forum. It is changing the game!

Members just give me 1 days time to get the correct information regarding this post. If it is found that this information is wrong then we can know well that future message from this member may also be wrong.

The IP shows this member is from UK. But never mind I have sent message to proper person to get the right info. But Take it for granted this is a hoax.

as we all know this person is newbie and this is his first post.. just he is trying to stop voting so that we should not vote for indian participants and he will vote for pareesh.. this is his trict so carry on with your lucky charms and vote...

Read the message, it is dripping with sarcasm!!

The astute amongst you would have read between the lines and ascertained the point of the hoax.

The point encapsulates many of the complaints aired on this forum:

The fact that SMS/telephone voting system doesn't work for many people because their favorites are being voted off.

The fact that the judges/mentors are being slandered for their ill judgements.

The fact that multiple voting is providing an advantage to the contestants who have the largest family/friends network.

The fact that contestants maybe getting voted off because their fans assume that they are 'safe' for the time being and another contestant needs the votes instead.

The fact that Challenge 2005 is a new format and maybe the criteria for the winner is not intended to be same as it is for the regular SRGMP show.

Also the fact that I could be Swananda unloading my frustrations by posing as Gajendraji. Anyone on this board could be one of our prized contestants trying to manipulate things in their favour.
