Regional bias

We, the UK viewers saw the Raktima elimination episode today.
It was disgusting to see Shaan openly discussing the regional bias in voting pattern by saying to Raktima that since she & Ujjaini both are Bengali, so votes got split.
Also it was interesting to see Nihira asking for votes in Marathi, so now every one realises that singing ability is not enough to be voted in.
Also earlier in this forum I've read mails supporting Hemachandra because he is from Andhra Pradesh.Wonderful........
Just reconfirms that States are bigger than the country.....

Well I think its just the way you look at it.....I personally think that Rajeev spoke some Nepalese and Nihira some Marathi and it was all in good cheer....thats how I looked at it. But yes, I do agree on one thing.....I wish people didn't ask for votes from their regional public....coz that would create some negative feelings.

I was also surprised with what Shaan said and immediately wrote a feedback on the saregamapa site. They are turning a national level program into a regional fight. I was surprised with the way Ujjaini said in Bengali that she lost because the Bengalis did not vote for her enough...
