You know what - I always get confused when folks throw in physics during any spirituality discussion😆 I think I was dealing with matter and energy at the very basic level. To my simple mind - all living forms have energy in them where as non-living forms, i.e. matter, does not have it. So yes, I am energy but a table or a chair is not.

Regarding "brahman" and "tatvamasi", please understand that there is no "I". It's not easy to let that sink but please give it a try. The word "I" is FALSE, because duality is FALSE because everything is ONE. You cannot divide that ONE because if you choose to do that, there is no end to it. You can divide that ONE into infinite forms and give each form a name (Gauri, Mister K, computer, your neighbor, Obama, a comet, a star, a cluster of stars, a galaxy etcetera) but you will not be satisfied. At one point, you would want to add all that up and you will still end up with ONE. So the first question then is "WHY DIVIDE?"

But we are already divided - right? Now that we have Gauri and Mr. K and ajnu and Sarina and kuhu and that wretched little boy OBJ😡 --- what do we do now? I would love to see us all as one but we are many - like unity in diversity - we all share a part of that energy that comes from one source - the brahman - the ONE. Then, should I be not reality? Because if I am not added back to that unified ONE then that ONE won't be complete - it will be lacking a piece of itself even if that piece is as infinite as me?

Sorry. Ignore my blabberings. I dwell over these things from a very simplistic point of view. I am not as well read as you and some around here. Hence, the ignorance and inability to grasp the things the way you are explaining.
