Listening to Kuhu kuhu jugalbandi between Parthiv and Vaishali was a most beautiful experience😃

Who do you feel was better in the jugalbandi - Parthiv or Vaishali? and why?

Parthiv, both were good but Parthiv's finer details just lift songs to another level. Vaishali is a good singer and on a better day, she is even better.

In jugalbandi, both were equal.

Parthiv is a well rounded singer, however, his voice lacks the throw. Many times, his words cannot be heard clearly and it seems as if he is singing to himself.

I don't understand the intricacies of music much, so here is what I felt intuitively😊

In my view Parthiv's voice was quite down during the two episodes(Both were shot on the same day). Also I feel that he is not as good in normal film songs as he is in classical based songs.

Regarding Kuhu kuhu, in my view Parthiv was far better. There is a whole world of difference between a classical based singer singing classical based songs and a normal singer singing classical based songs. No matter how well the normal singer sings, this difference will show up.

Everybody has their choice so their comments are based on that. Vaishali has beautiful voice but still looks kachcha kachcha. Parthiv singing was pakka pakka.

This is an overall singing competition. If Parthiv has the advantage of being trained in classical singing, he also has deficiencies in his voice which prevented him from harnessing his sangeet knowledge to his and his team's advantage. In a singing competition, whoever is the better singer considering all the aspects is the winner. I don't think his voice was down. That's just his style of singing - he seems to go soft all of a sudden. Frankly, to me, Parthiv was more impressive during the SRGM competition some 10 years ago when he was the megafinals runners-up.
