You can safely do away with the 'ji' part. I'm not as old as my musical taste might suggest😛😳. On the other hand, if I'm guessing it right, you're a veteran😉.. hem.. I mean on IF😛.
As for my singing, people around me at times find my singing tolerable😳☺️, although I've been in the Ekalavya gharana all my life.🥱
