But now a days Hindi songs have English lyrics in it...so I think they should have had lil champ perform on desi english song.

I agree I thought shreyasi did a good job...not great....but good attempt..I thought

There so much in indian music..if they were to attempt- they should be encouraged to attempt classical /folk in music that is indian....this is srgmp ...the song she sang ofcourse is fantastic...but if we as indians dont sing our songs..then who will....everyone can sing in english..its a universal language!!!

That is just my opinion😊

Foreign songs have different styles that test a singer's versatility. Even in English songs European compositions are starkly different from US compositions which are a world different from Asian compositions. Singing in a different language, especially a non familiar language also tests the emotiveness of a signer - for now the singer has to convey the songs through emotions as not all people will understand the lyrics.

I'm hoping for the day someone dares to sing in Cantonese.

If wanted to test the singers ability in singing foreign songs... make the week that all contestants sing english song... so camparison can be made...!

Shreyasi and My heart will go on.. really frustrating...!
