First of all, kudos to Sheryasi for attempting Titanic song.

Now coming to the fact...

Her attempt was good, not the best. The reason I am saying this is....

Judges went wow on her performance, I honestly don't think Abhijeet or Alka can really judge this song. Just like for American Idol judges can not judge a bollywood number, it;s the same for indian judges to judge Hollywood song.😳

I noticed Alka mentioned to Sheryasi that some words were not pronounced right, but did not even mention which words were not pronounced right. I think honestly Alka just said that for the sake of it.

It would have been nice if Simon from American idol was on the show to judge this number 😃

I wouldn't wish that. Simon is one critical judge and he would chop her to pieces. Its not easy to please Simon.

This song is not an easy one to sing. Its like Soha said, lots of singers would rather not sing this song.

Yes she made a good attempt. But I wouldn't encourage her to repeat it.

And you are right, the judges are not able to comment on this song.

I feel that the show should be restricted to Indian songs. Simply because the mass voting population speak the national language and are proud of their language. By choosing an English one she has alienated those who aren't too fond of English songs. As I understand , Western movies are dubbed in Hindi in India. As Afsa said , she didn't understand a single word Shreyasi sang. I am sure there are many like her. There are many romantic Hindi songs to sing, why choose a western song? This is primarily a Hindi show.

Personally, I feel this gamble won't pay off for her.

By the way, is the song syndicated for public singing by others? There is always a question of song rights, especially western songs. Copyright infringement.

Why Not???? Music is music....

OK Simon may be a candid judge but he is on the mark 99% of the time....No matter how weird he might be....

Now coming to Shreyasi's performance...I felt she did very decent job @ singing one the most difficult singer's famous song...not many can even attempt it...

Alka mentioning abt the pronounciation of couple of words 🤔 Tell us the naive audiance what those 2 words were 😔 SHe is full of it...

SOha was right with her comments....

Shreyasi's performance may not work in her favor as many either would not understand the difficulty of this song and probably don't approve of english song being sung on Hindi contest show...

haha i was kiddin in my sig.. im not a blind fan who believe the rest r in hell 😆.. i love all these greats but rafi is the best and dearest to me 😆 .. aah i love thatt kishore song u mentioned.. but my fav of his is "phoolon ke rang se" .. fav of rafi is "tere mere sapne ab ek rang hain" 😃 i dont know why ppl arent boycotting the current musical waste and sticking to the timeless classics. its ok to move with the times but if it is of such a low quality why bother?
