I am just glad Himani is out after the hypocracy about Nihira. Himani is a great singer - unfortunately she is also a lousy person evidently. Anywy there is no way she could be better than Nihira.

Debu got 80% from his state. What does that tell the audience? That people from his state are only voting for him because he is from their region not because of his talent. How can Debu come in the first place when majority of his votes are coming from just one state? This shows that there is a lot of cheating going on as people are casting multiple votes to save their singers.
Saregamapa is about talent and not about regionalism. They need to bring back traditional judges..

i totally agree! if it was my way i think that vinit and nihira should have been the top 2.

This is my first and last post. I'm being following this program for a year now. Lost my cool over this nonsense. Here's what will happen.

1. 'GOOD' HR will marry 'Dumb-ass' Vineet
2. Himani will shed her crocodile tears as she did when Nihira was eliminated
3. Hema will sing the songs in the shaadi
4. Debu will walk out...he should be given a chance to walk out...thatz only fair
5. A...hole AS will fix the Shaadi and will be go gr8 guns with his sarcasm and f...king comments...
6. Gajju will pull his hair out and will be admitted to old age home in Assam ...Debu will use his influence
7. ID iwll write emotional drama song on the above situation and Nihira will give a hit song out of that....bravo both
8. Twinkle is a perfomer and will perfom at this shaaadi...
9. Vineet and HR go for honeymood and that is the END of Sare gama GOOD Challenge 2005.....

After seeing the Thrusday's telecast, it has really left us agitated.
It was similar to " a student going for an exam and then in the examination hall saying that, the test should be only of 10 questions as i know only 10 questions out of the 100 questions".
Did we make the rule of going thru by maximum votes that one of the spectators said, it should reflect the vote of India which was vigorously supported by HR and AS. Do they think that North East is out of INDIA! NE is not outside India neither did NE people stop other people to vote for their participants .... it is open for all and anyone can vote for as many times as he/she wish.. and HR and AS should complain to the people of India and NOT Debu/NE, And also AS and HR must know that North East means total Seven States, which means 80% vote which Debojit received actually comes from seven states. (I understand the level of education that AS and HR have got after seeing their attitude in the show)

Although, I dont think debo has sung very good all the time, his last week's performance was very very good... If you thought it was straight, then Im not sure what you mean by good classical singing (I think you find classical music dull and boring and u only listen to fast, pop disco music thats ruling the hindi film music lately)... Debo has done a Master's in Hindustani classical music and that was displayed perfectly in the way he sang..."Yeh Ishq Ishq Hai"....And so was the song he sang on Thursday... I have always been of the opinion that debo & hema sing the best on thursdays, while vinit sings really bad on thursday, but steals the show on Fridays... But overall from the very first day, I have been of the opinion that the real competition in the finals would be between hema and debo.

Also I've seen hema sing as dummy in the south and debo at various other TV singing competition like Ghazal, classical etc....where hez won many prizes.... So I think they two are the deserving challengers.

But I think the walk-out was the worst thing that the 3 could have done, in Saregamapa...It was absolutely against the spirit of challenge & music.

Watched Himesh reaction in the Thursday's episode, it is very typical of a gay lover. Keep up the good acting Himesh, "Desh ka naam to roshan kargea". I know Himesh sung the song "Ashique Banya aapne ...." for Vinit only. Being in the USA I have learnt that gays are not abnormal and so is Vinit & Himesh. They are perfect match, you all can figure out the gay passion in Himesh's as well as Vinit's eyes....beautiful.

Well written!! I personally think Debu is the most versatile of the singers left now. It looks like people on this forum have clear favourites and Debu is not among them. That is why there is all this noise on him getting the highest number of votes. If the participants have agreed to abide by a system of voting, then until they have concrete proof that something is wrong or rigged in the voting system, they would do well to shut up and behave.

The worst singer in the last edisode was Hemachandra. Not only did he falter numerous times but also delivered the song in an accent which even SP Balasubramanium would have cringed at. It may well be that Hema is the most complete and competent singer out there, but unless he does something about his diction, people from the hindi speaking states, who do recognize the accent, will not vote for him, because as soon as he begins singing, he becomes a caricature of everything a North Indian thinks about a South Indian, and they don't take him seriously after that.

As to Himani shedding tears, I think it is genuine. I think she is an excellent singer who is not insecure about her talent. She does not need to resort to shedding tears to win. She is already a winner having made made it to the top 4 in the competition. She sings the more difficult songs and sings them very, very well.

Vineet sings songs that are suitable to his voice and that are popular among the public. He makes good choices and gets votes. I don't think the people vote for him because of HR's quest to get him his love. People vote for him because he does well on the stage.

Finally, Debu chooses and delivers his songs well. He has a pefect voice for playback singing. Weather he gets votes from 7 NE states or 5 Southern states or all Northern states, is a moot point. The fact is people of India vote for him. If the format of the program allows them to vote multiple times, the same allowance is extended to supporters of other singers. I don't think anyone has the right to question the numbers that come in. I don't think anyone has the right to shout ULFA to demean the numbers he gets. The NE states like him and they vote for him, and they matter every bit as much as the other Indian states.
