Sonali, how can you discriminate someone based on the place a person belongs to?. What do you mean by saying Dehati? You need to visit Himani's hometown Faridabad and then you would know that it is as cultured as Delhi or Mumbai. Sonu Nigam, Neha Dhupia, Shewta Kwatara all come from the same place. You need to be respectful to a person's talent. I think Himani sings very well and deserves to be among the winners.

Ok Rajeev being still in the competition shows that either Public that is voting has no knowledge of music (is voting based on pure region or personal liking) or this show for now is a setup.
Mentor or people saying that he sings "dil" se is absured and does not make sense.
How can a guy who has no sense of "sur" what soever still remain in the show.
I have nothing against Rajeev but his presence is depriving good singers from being in the show.
SAREGAMAPA has gone down the tube and is disrespect to the music world, period. Case closed, no justification or thread to this is needed.

yesterdays show had amrita rao and shahid kapoor. everyone performed well....and the guests were a praise for everyone ...butfrankly speaking both amrita rao and shahid kapoor told their views on how the contestants sang but when hem sang it was only shahid kapur and he almost gave the same view as bhansali told ...something like judges points and stuff[as far as i remember].anyways ....then talking abt himesh.....he is really making it obvious on the screen that he wants only vinit to win...cos when one of the contestants sang he was saying in front of everyone ..."vinit tumhare liye aur ek competitor aagaya hain" ...what does he mean ..all the nine participants r competing against eachother ..does.he indirectly mean that vinit is the best till now and no one was a real competitor for him?what do u think...its true that vinit sings very well but there r some other contestants who sing equally good...and they showed some of the contestants hometowns and their people cheering up for them and wishing them for success.....

I would take that as a good thing. Every mentor should support their students and they would like them to win the contest. I think i would like ID and AS also to do that for their contestents. In a way, I like HR's spirit in this whole thing. May be i am wrong, but i guess Vineet is one of the candidates who can really win the contest, and he's been performing very well...
Regarding what's happening at SRGM, is indeed a joke. I don't understand, how come Rajeev, Paresh and Twinkle is batting steadily when singers like Sharib, Sananda and Raktima is out 😭 Sounds funny isn't it 😉

One thing I dont really understand...

In the earlier rounds when we had judges who decided between the contestants, HR would almost always praise all contestants in superlatives (excellent, superb, mind-blowing) even though other mentors would criticise one point or the other. I liked him (next to ID) for praising all these kids and boosting their morale.
Did that attitude help him in getting the Brahmastra - dunno...

And now, in these later rounds, he (for some reason) usually gives the lowest rankings/points to the contestants out of all the mentors.
Does he think that this might affect the viewers decision in their voting - again, dunno..

U r right roy, I wont be surprised if rajeev wins in final . In famegurukul also the same thing happened good singers like mona ,rex, chaavi, arijit, shamit, arpita, kirti and list go on were all out by public voting and qazi won the fg title though he was put in danger zone by the judge right from the beginning of the competition. atleast we shd be thankful to srgmp for bringing the public voting only in agnipariksha stage. Had they introduced public voting right from the beginning we would have missed nihira vineet,hema, sharib,[list will go on] long back. I am thankful to god that gajendrajji introduced this public voting from brahmasthra round. otherwise this saregamapa would have ended in tragedy like famegurukul. thank god this public voting did not take place like famegurukul that is in other words from the beginning of the competition. so little relief we got.

It's been amazing to see that HR is already wallowing in his ivory tower to have taken vineet -- the kiddy -- as a winner. Actually, he sees his own image in the little boy, i.e., as he himself admitted in one of the episodes 'I am earning my bread from Luxmi-Pyare. Tere naam is an example in itself'. Same is the case with the lucknow chap who mimicks and (mind you) mimicks almost like the original. I am saying 'almost' because his only flaw is the skip he gets from his mimickry and his original kiddy voice shows off. Anyway, may be some 5 years down he may be having a manly voice to do justice. However, he can certainly save HR some real money should he be cast as a single singer for both male and female voices. He might do justice to the female voice, but what about the male one??? God help him, in case it turns true. As for the cap obsession, it has gone too far man. Now it sucks. Now, even the other mentor's singers have stolen the secret from the talented mentor named HR. I seriously dread the day when HR will make his singers sit in the audience and watch the melody brought by their caps singing and performing for them. 😆

roy, I disagree with your views, Your advise to AS and ID shd have have been given to HR. let me give u some illustrations. take AS. when rakthima lost in the first round adheshji came on the stage and consoled her that not to loose the hope she will be given a chance in his film.secondly he encouraged himani by giving a gift [goggle] to her . thirdly he always encouraged rajeev [though he was not upto the mark some time ] but never discouraged him and finally when hemchandra was in tension adheshji came on the stage and lifted hema and said not to loose the confident and promised him that he will be given a chance in his next film [entire songs of the film for him].

now coming to ID he encouragd paresh and said that he sings well and nihira he always say she is best,and for twinkle and debojit ,niladri also he encouraged them that too on the stage and he never hesitate to criticise them if they r not upto the mark. he is very frank.

As far as JL is concerned , he came on stage and expressed his happiness on the stage for swananda and sharib abhijit and also he stood with them when they were eliminated and expressed his displeasure openly attacking public for their poor taste specially when sharib was eliminated..but he was very supportive to all his contestant of his gharana.

I never saw that spirit with HR . all along he has been praising only vinit and pleading to public to vote for favourite vinit and never plead for others.every time he come to stage before vinit starts singing and put cap on him and scarf as a token of his blessing to him. why is he not doing the same to paresh ujjaini or to other contestants who were in his gharana earlier. if at all he praise some time to others his comments like ,why did u wear the cap [ to paresh] and also commented that 'u will get half of the vote for your personality' as if they are not singing well. they too were appreciatd by the judge like jagjit singh, sameer, sureshwadker ,pandit chaurasia etc etc. HR is little different from other mentors who is not treating his gharana's participant uniformly and he is always biased. he never gives generously point to other gharana's contestant but other mentors are giving good point to his gharana.

Kashish, it is always sad to have one's favorite singer eliminated, in this case, Sharib. But, bringing him back in would do no good better than he already received from ID. Singing with lataji could be any aspiring singer's (and even some of the established singers')dream come true. Chances are winners of this competition might not go that far and end up just short of that. Well, I wish for otherwise but, the talent coming out of such shows (SRGMP is a slight better though)have frustated so far -- take the example of abhijeet and the quazi etc. What I mean is Sharib's is a leap bigger than what ZEE has in store for the winner. Saying that if he is not made to win then India will be at a great loss is nothing more than shortsightedness. I still agree that, from the available choices, he was one of the top contenders given his voice suited to a particular type of mood. And I am sorry to say that he didn't have as much of a unique or gifted voice or singing to make us feel bereaved. And neither have any on the stage presently. Anyway, the real music people don't have to worry much as there already has a pool of talent out there to satisfy anybody's music taste bud of any kind. So, you all keep enjoying the drama served on the box better known as IDIOT.
