Priyanka's elimination - 2 things

It seemed to me from what Udit Narayan said :

priyanka's made mistake in her singing so got eliminated.. because you like her singing trying to find out fault with judges rather than looking at her mistakes..

nice observations. I hated it when she got eliminated.

Bingo!! I had caught on to that statement too, but brushed it away as i thought it was just my assumption, but now it confirms my doubt!

I felt Abhijeet didn't like Yasodhan and Alka didn't like Priyanka which was the deciding factor for the duo's elimination and not their singing or performance. An addition factor may be that the channel guys wd like to retain one of the younger contestants in each gender till the top5. The celebrity guests will be definitely having a discussion with A & A and also the channel ppl after their first performances, and I think then the Saturday's episode are shot. Thats why the trio always voice their opinion in congruity.

To the first one...Priyanka was the second to last to perform...so yes, he did know how the performances were. If not second to last, she certainly wasn't one of the first four...so he had at least four performances to compare to.

Btw, Priyanka was in the bottom two with Yashodhan, so it's not like we didn't already know they didn't like her singing much.

So that is the piont, since they did'nt like that much Priyanka's singing from the very begining however she sings her number is in top of the elimination list

I will miss Priyanka...hope she comes back in the WC round...
