After watching all the SaReGaMaPa contests last 3-4 years, I have come to the conclusion that all these contests are fixed by Zee TV Management and the show sponsors. They decide who gets out when and we are a bunch of fools believing its a real contest among equals. Just enjoy the show for the music quality and some hilarious moments and stop getting emotional about who gets kicked out and who wins.

Why I think this way? Look at what Ismail Darbar revealed 2 years ago, how Himesh had made a deal with Zee so Aneek can win when in reality, the real vote winner was Raja. Ofcourse the best singer that time was Amanat Ali. Same happened few years ago when Nihira Joshi, the best singer on the show was kicked out. I was happy when Sanchita and Anamika won because there was no way anyone else could have won since they were the best in their contests.
For me, the real SaReGaMaPa contests were when Sonu was the host and we had all the great music directors choosing the winner, instead of the public. Since then, I have been enjoying the music value only.

u feel like this when ur favourite contestant gets kicked out.. we all have felt like this at some point of time .. but this is not true.. best is to not to feel too attracted to any candidate , do not have strong liking or disliking.. then u will enjoy yhe show.. I know it is easier said than done.

Well...I don't know
I feel as soona s public voting is brought in,many additional factors are brought in to bring up TRPS etc. But I also think that sometimes the best can win like anamika, sanchita n aishwarya of chote ustaad(though anwesha was better, aishwarya was also good)
But yes,in the adult shows we may have problms with the winner more often. amant n Nihira were def. winner material, even Amit Sana was beter in Indian idol 1, AMey date in Indian idol 2, Deepali in idl 3, Ritisha in VOI2, Abhas in VOI1, Shashi in challenge 2009. But theya re my favourites for their singing n not vice-versa.
Hope the best wins every time, and usually even a layman can say who's the best. But public may get influenced by othe factors like region, drama, performance etc.
Why else did Ankita Mishra get more votes than deepali? Why did Tanmay get more votes than Rohit Shyam rao/aamir hafez? Why did Ishmeet get more votes than Abhas? Why did Yashita get more votes than Pratibha?

I never said who my favourites were so whoever threw their 2 cents, they can give it to some temple where it may be more useful. I look at it purely from talent and natural abilities, not hype or regional voting or sympathy voting for someone who may be disadvantaged. I am willing to bet my 2 cents that singers like Amanat Ali, Nihira Joshi can out perform the real winners today, having seen them LIVE in concerts. I saw Himani and Nihira in Atlanta in the same concert with Parthiv Gohil and guess who got the standing ovations... Nihira.. and who was the last remaining female contestant that year? Himani. I am not saying Himani is bad but when judged by QUALIFIED musicians, the trained Nihira will always beat Himani because they are in a different class as singers.. Nihira more classical whereas Himani more Sunidhi type.. and she cannot compete with Sunidhi because Sunidhi is a little packet of fantastic energy when you see her in a concert.. she just does not get tired and can sing 10-12 songs without a break, wowing the crowd, she has that crowd pulling magic when LIVE in concerts.
I think you get my point.. this is a good music show and nothing else. It may unearth new talent but dont be fooled that the winner was the best among that group of contestants. Actually, my favourite little contestant was Abhrokanti and I am wondering what he is upto these days.

Hope Abhro's voice has matured and he has worked on breathing issues...Would love to see that little classically trained kiddo....Now he must be atleast 16-17.....He was simply superb in Kids special...

I don't know if its fixed or not but following are someexcerpts I read in a website about the musical reality shows....

Kailash Kher, part of the jury of Indian Idol 4 opines, "Reality shows are a great platform for new singers to showcase their talent and meet the right people in the music fraternity without being misled. We didn't have any reality shows in our time and had to struggle, but now even singers from the country's interiors can make it big through these shows."

The most tempting part of these shows is indubitably the contracts offered by the channels extending over a year or two.

Anushka Manchandana, herself a 'reality show' winner insists, "These two years of contract are of prime importance for reality show winners as the channel takes care of marketing and branding them. The artists can make contacts with prominent names in the music industry which would have been impossible otherwise. It is also a great learning experience

Zee Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2008 runner up Raja Hasan seconds, "These contracts are signed including the terms and conditions of the singers as well." Debojit insists, "There is a lot of pressure on the artists as they are bound in contracts and the channel expects them to do several shows. The drawback is that after being in the limelight during the show, it is a prime time to exploit the exposure but we cannot work outside the contract."

Once the contracts are signed, the channels claim as much as 50 per cent of the total income earned by the artists, say sources.

Music reality shows are instrumental in getting the participants the much needed exposure and provides several career opportunities. Everyone participating in reality show is a winner in his own right,

So even if its fixed, singers (I mean who can really sing) do get exposure.

A few years back, as Kalishji mentioned "singershad to struggle" and many didn't even made it!

That is arrogancy at its best.. You think u can judge better than Abhijit, Alka and other gues judges? Good enough. nice to think urself great..
Do not quote about Nihira.. she was victim of public voting.. It was all together different thing. Public vote is not dependant on only talent and u can not dictate public what they have to do.. yes u can be pissed off.. good enough.. and we all know when it is public voting it does not depend on talent. personally i will never vote for a good singer if he/she is of bad attitute. i will vote for an inferior singer with pleasing personality. there is no fixing here.. just because people always do not think like you think does not mean it is fixed.
Here we are discussing Little champ..no public voting.. judges decision.. If you think you understand better than judges , excellent. That does not mean it is fixed. it is only that your music sense is not same as that of the famous judges.
