Choreographer Remo D'Souza to hold a concert in memory of the late pop star, Michael Jackson

Remo D'Souza

Michael Jackson

While the world is still mourning the death of pop icon Michael Jackson, Bollywood choreographer Remo D'Souza plans to pay his respects to the late legend by holding a concert in his memory.

A source said, "The details of the show are being worked out. In all probability, the show will be held at the Gateway of India if the requisite permissions come through. Attempts are being made to get singers like Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan and Shaan to sing Michael Jackson's songs. The organisers also plan to get Prabhu Deva as one of the performers."

Remo confirmed the news and said, "I will be in a better position to give out details after a few hours. All I can say is that it will be a huge concert and will involve many renowned people from the music industry and also those who have interacted with Michael Jackson."

Getting emotional about the late pop star, Remo said, "He has been an inspiration to people worldwide and I am just one of his million admirers. Although I did not take any formal training from him, I consider him my guru. This concert is my way of repaying his debt."

I wish I could read minds. It would be clearer if these concerts etc are all really a tribute to the deceased or a God sent opportunity to make a quick buck. Guess we will never know.

LOL... I cant help laughing though my shock regarding MJ's death news is still there... Maybe Remo is trying to pay off his guilt of stealing MJ's dance moves for his CHOReography, thanks to youtube!! But whatever reason it is, I hope this will be a tribute and not a money vending method to fool the janta - now and in the future (DID)!!
