I think no one can sing "Aashiq banaya aapne" better or with more emotions than Sharib (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2005)....dont u think the same?????? He was just awesome...

I absolutely agree! He was just awesome.This time the 'magical mentors' couldn't say "Even better than original singer" 😉 I think he stands a good chance of winning provided his song is suitable to his voice.
I don't understand the hype about Vishwas, even if he comes in via Brahmastra, he will be out eventually.
Hemachandra and Debu are ok, none of their performances
made me rewind and watch again like I did for Sharib.

Absolutely!!! His earlier songs "Mann ki lagan" and "Tadap Tadap ke" were phenomenal as well. No other singer makes you rewind and watch them sing again as much as Sharib does.

You could see HR hiding his face and sometimes his mouth open in total disbelief. AS came close to hinting that Sharib sung the song better than HR, but had to do it very subtly.

i agree with all of you. Sharib is just 17 years old and look at his singing . he is a sincere , hardworking and focussed kid with good classical training. He is my favorite so far.

Honestly, at first, I didn't like Sharib's singing, but his Man Ki Lagan song changed my opinions of him. He has been performing in the best possible way. His Tere Mere Sapne, Aashiq Banaya Aapne, Chhaya Chhaya, Tadap Tadap Ke Iss Dil were all fabulous. I can see in JL that they are truly proud of him.

i absolutely agree, sharib is the best of all !! with his voice he will rule the music worid. way to go sharib !!

Even I did not have a very good opinion about sharib. But the sng Man ki Lagan changed my viewpoint completely.

He has a long way to go.....

I also did not much care for his singing initially.I missed the episode when he sang Man Ki Lagan.(I am still looking for the video)I did not much liked his rendering of Chainya Chainya either,but when I heard him sing Tadap Tadap Ke I changed my opinion about him and now I think he his the best and most versatile.When I think of old songs like Man Tadpat Hari Darshan Ko Aaj and Poocho Na Kaise Maine Rain Bitayee I think out of all the participants only Sharib can sing them.

I agree wholeheartedly. I would love to hear Sharib sing many of the yester years gems. To add to your list -- Manna Dey's Laga Chunari Mein Daag, Ai Meri Zohara-jabin, Rafi's Madhuban Mein Radhika Nache Re, Nache Man Mora Magan Tikta Dhigi Dhigi and the all time great bhajan from Baiju Bawara -- O Duniya ke Rakhawale Sun Dard Bhare Mere Nale....Give these songs to Sharib and all others and you will see the real difference...
