Age Limit

I don't know why I thought of this just now, but does this show even have a minimum age limit? I mean, I know they have a max. Last year at least, I thought the minimum was ten or something. This year, Afsha, a five-year old was allowed to audition. I think it's a little ridiculous that they didn't keep a minimum age limit. five-year olds against thirteen year olds? wow.

hmm yeah even I'm not sure lol...

well some voices do mature early i guess so maybe they decided to keep it at this limit , but still most of the time the min age of the contestants is 8 i think....

I think 8 is the low limit and should be 14 for top....

I think they have a minimum age limit this year also - and its 8 years if I am not mistaken.

They showed / auditioned Afsha because of TRP purpose / introducing before the real hosting starts ( rules gaye tel lene , TRP ke liye kuch bhi karega 😆 ) and it was all planned because as soon as she left from auditions ( from both camp, Alka ji and Abhijeet da's ) background voice announced..........dekhate hain ye choti si Afsha aage aage kya jalwa dekhati hai show mein 😲😆😆 So it was all pre planned I think.......

Also one more reason to believe it was all planned becuase Afsha got the highest footage in auditions.......where she was not even eligiable to audition...........can you believe that they would have time to auditioned her twice ( she was sent to Abhjijeet's camp ) where there were thousands of kids were in line to audtion ???? 😕

the age limit is 8-14...and I am sure they do check the ages before letting someone in from of the judges...but if they do find someone interesting like Afsha, the probably make an exception...you know TRP ka sawaal hai...

I heard Alka saying to Afsha that she was too young age being 5 and lower age limit was 8....In past LC top limit was 14 and I am sure it is still same..

So atleast 8 and under 14....

Yes Alka did say to Afsha that she was too young for the show !! You would think that someone else would notice that and filter them out before contestants go for auditions !! 😕

Nishi you, I and rest know that show folks knew the minute they laid their eyes on Afsha that she was under age criteria....But still sent her for audition 😲 How can they think she was 8 😳 Very small 8 yrs young I guess Its all for TRP ka funda...😛

Thanks everyone. I was just wondering, because she still let her audition and I think she stopped some of the older kids from auditioning because they were too old.

But I also remember a couple of six-year olds who auditioned and no one questioned them. Hmm...maybe I'm mistaken.

hmm.....may be there was a seperate auditions for hosts goin on.....who knows 😆

haha. probably. i did notice that they had a lot of footage of the "cuter" kids, and it's pretty obvious when they come on the screen.
