She reminded me of Vaishali when she sung that Hungama song. I hope she continues singing so well and just blowing us all away every time rather than some of the nameless others who started out really well, but then stopped towards the end.

But yes, I absolutely loved it! By far the best performance.

well i agree with Clod ..at least for today Shalini stood out the most ..not only she had the adayae but her pitch was right too ...her sur didn't waver ..and under sureshji's guidance she will shine ..only i found her little overconfident ...judges ne itna sar pe charaya ....

The guy who sang laga chunri was very surila ...i was listening to his song closing my eyes and his notes were coming out almost perfect ..i think with proper grooming some if them will emerge as excellent singers in this comp .....

Now what Abhijeet's comment and alka-abhijeet's apparent "ladai" will do to their confidence and morals.....well those r debatable issues and will keep these threads going 😆

Koeli, did you listen to Antara's song on Saturday?? She has a wonderful voice and good sur too!! 😃

I hope Cloddy is okay - talking about music!!! 😆

Nahi Aku i hadn't watched saturday's episode ..i wasn't home and forgot to DVR it ....tried to watch it in IF last night but was soo slow that somehow was able to watch the 1st part ..will def watch tonight and let u know my view😃 .....

jahaan ki cloddy ki baat chal rahi hai ...he has understood the secret of the trade ...open a thread on music and then keep spamming 😉 😆

Antara is very good, and for me, I feel she is the best among the girls so far... Two more spots left, so gotta wait and see those two as well... Antara's voice is kinda Anamika's - sharp, clear and melodious, but she is much younger than Anamika - dont know the correct age, but I think she might be around 8 or so. I didnt think she had such good voice when she came to sing, but once she started, she amazed me. 😃

Coming to spamming *ahem ahem*, we have a bunch of hard picks here! LOL... We used to bash Guru as the spammer for a while, but looks like Cloddy will take the cake easily! Look at his number of posts - when, where, and how he made so many posts?! And what on earth were they about? 😆

There were others much better than Shalini...I don't think she sang that well.Usha was getting very excited coz it was her song.

Chitraji, if you watch Antara who sang on Saturday, you will instantly fall in love with her voice! I feel that Antara is better than Shalini, but we never know as we heard them only once. Anyway, four girls have been selected and all four of them seem to be good. We have to hear them more before we make a judgment on who would be the best - still plenty of time left for that. Most of these kids sing the songs they are good at, and when it comes to versatility, they may not be good anymore - like Yashita's case. So we got to wait and see before getting too excited for someone! 😉 😃

Usha ji likes all the fast numbers as it is her forte... But she felt the beats were missing for the Maria Maria song when that little boy sang it and he didnt get in, thought his big brother did. Ushaji is a good judge in music as fas as I know... Singing fast numbers isnt easy for little kids unless they know about the variations of notes/pitching, I believe, and so they tend to make more mistakes than older teens and adults...

She sang the fast number jhoom baba... She had the correct pitches and did a very good job.. I hope she wont be like Yashita who cant sing anything else or a one-time hit wonder...
