Shalini's performance ! - Page 5

shalini probably goes into the performer group. When they showed the promo, I was surprised she got in, and then they showed the whole clip and I fell in love with her. She's very energetic, but she wasn't really on key all the time. I don't think what they did with the guy who sung "bheegi bheegi" was really that fair, because they didn't tell him to sing a different song, and he only go to sing like two words the first time. they should have just asked him to sing a different song.

I infact liked all other girls over Shalini...the only thing different in Shalini was that she was confident. But she overdid the style in that song...I liked Antara, Debolina and Shreyasi...they seemed trained and can do well...as for Shalini I couldn't figure out if she was triained but with her singing I felt she was more of a non classical performer....

I agree - @underlined. I said the same thing in another thread - why they didnt ask him to sing a different song instead of rejecting him as non-versatile?? 😕

Shalini was first runner up in saregama bangla 2008

Even some of the girls & boys they eliminated were better than the ones they kept...For bronz & silver medals...

yeah thats true...he did sing that song reallyw ell in Hindi as well as Bangla...so he is versatile ...if they didn't think that then they should have atleast let him sing two lines of another song befor letting him go...I think he was good...

From what i gather, he knows only that song😆

Abhijeet did say that he has been singing only that song since his childhood only no?😆

Secondly, maybe they asked and only then they came to know about all this🤔
