Waah waah, girija babu, laagta hain keh aaj akkha fauj yaha pohochela hain. Haaji Vaishali was really good from day one and finally the voting public was objective and very fair. Hope they retain these traits in future saregamapa challenges as well.

I am really happy that for the first time since SRGMP turned into reality show (public voting), a singer has won purely on the basis of exceptional and all-round singing skills and singing skills only....and other factors like performance, X-factor, regional biases/voting etc. did not pollute the choice of the winner

I am also happy that for the first time a contestant coming from a very small, completely unknown, under developed village became winner.

It heartens me to know that finally people have voted someone purely based on talent and merit, overlooking the gender, region, language biases and other factors not related to singing...like personality/appearance, dancing skills, X-factor...

I agree it was a well organized show and went off very well up until the end. I have no idea why there is utter chaos once the winner is announced. Inspite of all the progress it happened today as usual.

Adi cut off the Chairman of Hero Honda in the middle of his speech and began interviewing Shanker.

Then the poor guy who was trying to give the car key to Vaishali was seen pleading for a chance to proceed with Adi.

Vaishali began her speech to thank her husband while Adi was asking one of the Mentor's some question.

The producers of SAREGAMAPA have improved by leaps and bounds in the way the show is presented, but going forward they need to really fine tune the sequence of events at the finale and pay a little more attention to having the host keeping a tight control at all times. However overall this was much improved over the C2007 finale post announcement of the winner.
