If that is the root cause then the whole African continent will be full of terrorists. Besides in Indo-sub continent poverty is as old as its independence. They why we have terrorists now.

In my opinion the west does not like any muslim country to have nuclear arsenal. Fortunately or unfortunately Pakistan has nuclear weapons. The west is trying to destabalise Pakistan by funding some of the terrorists groups to create chaos and then taking control of nuclear weapons. This will not going to happen for another at least 50 yrs. After 50yrs it will not be posible at all for good.

So India for their own benefits try to help Pakistan by not becoming/showing as an enemy. Otherwise these terrorists will create problem not only to Pakistan but India as well being as the neighbour.

I agree The west definitely don't want any other country getting the nuclear weapons especially any muslim country.

The bombay attack was one of the most daring attacks. Bombay was in seize by handful of terrorists in broad day light and they were walking around the streets, killing the police chiefs, innocent civilians. The intensity of the terror could only be matched with 9 /11. Pakistan has been playing a proxy war with India for so long. So this terrorist thing is not some thing new. Alqaeda has been there since Russian-Afghan days.

African subcontinent has the maximum countries on the list which are considered as worst to travel. We hear terrorists/rouge regimes killing innocent civilians in thousands. But Indians, Pakistanis, israelis, Palestenians gets the maximum attention for whatever reason.

Surmani yes poverty is one problem and the other is greed. In some ways they are related too. Education and jobs are important.

There can be an end to poverty but not to greed.

I do not know about things but I know this much that Pakistan has 34 channels out of which PTV is only Govt channel. The rest are independent channels. I have read that these independent channels have foreign agents and played a big role in removing Gen Musharraf.

I have read that American aid of $10 billions was for the 100,000 Pakistan army( 1 b for every year which is not enough) who are there at the western borders of Afghanistan. It is not true that it is standing cuz of American support. Read any foreign news. India news will give things like that.

It is a part of the cause but not 100%. There are other causes as well.
