We have so far seen several contestants, winners and good and bad singers etc. So far which contestant do you respect the most? Raja has earned a lot of respect based on the way he conducted himself. He was also older than the rest. Even when he lost he remained calm and composed.
Nihira also conducted herself very well and respectfully. In the past there were several such singers too but I am unaware of them, so sorry.

He is very well respected - no question about it.

raja is older , therefore his voice is mature and he has achieved success.. so has amanat..

but aneek has seriously deteriorated.. his rendition of kya hua tera wada was worse than sonu nigaaaaaam....

Interesting topic Summerji. :) Respect itself is very interesting. I'm not sure how one would determine which of the contestants they respect more than others. It's really a personal issue and you would really have to know these contestants personally before making such a decission. I don't think we can determine who to respect based on the quality of his/her singing or on the way they are seen on the show. I'm sure most of us have complained about how a channel will do anything for ratings. Scripting contestant's behavior in any way could also be a trp gimic. So, unless we know the person well, such a decision may not be possible.

Script writers can not control everything and it is easy to tell who the "nice ones" are but garnering respect is totally different than garnering love for friendliness or something like that.

yes Lucky Jade.
Here I am not talking about singing or performance but basically about the character projected on stage during the SRGMP programmes only. Personally I do not know any of them and have no knowledge of their actions.

In ESBE Raja behaved very rudely with Abhijit and I lost whatever respect I had for him!

He was extremely jealous of Aneek in an interview
