I think most of us enjoy the Asma drama on stage as it is really fun. In the Salma Episode she really was the star in making us laugh.
But about her singing is she really improving or are the Mentors misleading us, by giving her "History" every week?Honestly I do enjoy her songs because her songs are carefully selected to suit her voice.PLease do not say that you hate her again.

Hello Marcus. Hope u doing fine. I know you love fine and nostalgic music. Asma is mostly drama. But now the Mentors are full of Drama and lower end Shayaris. They have lost focus on good and serious music.Asma came back through the wild card round, but many did not even come on stage. Looks like Zee pushed her in for Drama and humour. Factually she is still very popular it seems.
Saregamapa program as a whole has lost its bearings completely. They call it Sangeet kaa vishwa yudh (or whatever). Is it a singing competion? NO it is not. It has become more of an entertainment show or a general popularity contest. In order to advance, you have to gain popularity by hook or by crook. If you cannot impress public by your singing, impress some other way. (eg. Asma). For the public, the name of the show does not matter. Whoever entertains them will get votes! Nvertheless the present format of the show, to some extent, results in injustice to those who are genuinely good singers but cannot make people laugh! Humour often prevails over singing skills. In that respect, it will be extremely tragic if Asma manages to stay afloat at the expense of any of the remaining 6 contestants who are far far superior than her.
