Asma has a very sweet personality which people like. She has a strong Fan Base and she has beaten a lot of singers who are better due to several reasons. I understand her Fan base is in Orkut and Face Book.

There are people who like her singing too and they rank her as one to the top singers.

Generally a lot of people love to watch her on stage and provide a lot of humour and comedy. However, there are also a lot of people who think the other way. Anyway, let the public decide whom they want in the competition.

I adore Asma. I wanted to see her survive but right now I think she should leave. She has improved a lot and reached this level. It is really sad to see better singers leave the show when she is still here. I wish her all the best! I admire her for her courage. A transition from arabic to Hindi is very tough. She has done what most indian singers won't be able to do. Atleast none of her co contestants.

Asma said that she wants to win so that her mother can be happy. Mothers are angry with the children but after a little while they forgive them too. I am sure Asma's mother will forgive her in due course but this time will never come in Asma's life. Who knows the way she is progressing she might win too.

About the parents issue all due respect I dislike asma for it. if her singing was a such a huge issue she should've put her mother before her wish. I might've understood it if the mother refused and then said I will lock myself in a room till you change your mind. But it is not like that. The issue is HUGE! The family is broken apart. If you can't be loyal to your mother the lady who gave birth to you then who can you be loyal to??

And I honestly doubt the mother will be happy if Asma wins. the mother must be praying day and night for her daughter to get of that stage. I really hope Asma is not that naive. And by any chance her mother all of a sudden happily accept her daughter if she wins then this whole thing is a stunt!

I don't understand why personal matters of the contestants affect the voters/fans a lot.........All these should not be taken as a criteria to judge singers!! Yes you can adore her for her courage and boldness but for singing.....????????? come on guys.....
