Better voice: Both have a different voice.

More talented: Both.

More Awards: Kishore Kumar (8)

Classical trained: Muhammad Rafi

Classically singing is different. We are talking about playback singing. We don't really need classical there. Maybe Kishore Kumar sang better than Muhammad Rafi in 1970s. That's why he beat him. Overall he has more filmfare awards too.

I say Kishore Kumar is better.

and rafi's voice CANT be cloned.. kishores and lata's can..
and 4 of kishores filmfare awards were after rafi saahab death

kishore -4
Hero honda best singer of the millenium - rafi with 70% votes..

😆 Both are very popular but KK had more wives than MR. MR was could sing classical as well as popular songs. KK came in as a "new" and modern voice in later years.
