SRK - AKKI war, SRK- Salman War, SRK -AMITAB war, SRK- AAMIR war, SALMAN -JHON war ,SALMAN -SHAHID war KAREENA -KATRINA WAR , KATRINA- PYIYANKA WAR all these war created negative image of a star in the eyes of the fans of the other star.

I totally agree with you Vijay. If people have a problem with Himesh and hate him, they need to write to the channel. Although it will fall on deaf ears (in my opinion). Some poeple try to show themselves as HR haters and although all they do is talk about him. THey are sort of Fixated over HR and keep going on to bad mouth him as if thats the only thing in their life.

I pity them such critics and people.

If they hate HR so much, they should stay away from his topics / movies / SRGMP, but they will never do that.

People dont realise that they have paid HR 20 crores and if they dont keep him as their focus, they will be silly. Its like taking SRK in your movie by paying 15-20 crore and then giving him the side track and give a bigger role to the likes of Sonu Sood or Zayed Khan.

I dont understand why people do not understand commercialities and market demands.

For those people who are jumping out at the TRPs and calling them low, well let me say that the TRP of this show are bigger than those of VOI and other such shows in that time slot.

It may not be as high as last 2 years, because this year you have so much to see on the same slot that the TRP is divided - you have a big competition from Big Boss (specially the eviction episode) which is on friday at 10.

On Sat you have Cmedy Circus at 10 which is a fab show and also Big Boss.

Plus you have VOI too.

I can say that Zee is happy with the TRPs and they know that they can only get up from here.

Also some over enthusiatic people are thinking that the rise in TRP last week was because of Shankar singing ! well thats not true, it is more to do with this India vs Pak campaign which was done country wide. There were 1000 hoardings put up only in Mumbai ! which showed India vs Pakistan, I think this marketing strategy is working well for them.

Its got nothing to do with Shankar. Those people who go by logical reasoning may realise what I am saying.

Where were you so many days yaaar ? I missed you in the himmy thread. For your kind info, just met HR a few days ago. He is very charged up with the good response he has got to his acting. He was fab in the movie, I had not expected him to act so well specially in the emotional scenes. But the Karz scene where he meets his mom (rohini hatangadi) was awesome. I was speechless. Never expected so much improvement.

Dying to hear songs from Kajrare (they are all Indian songs in the movie), should have a sneek-peek sometime soon. The songs will be out in December.

BTW, I am coming to singapore in Dec with hubby for vacation.

I intend to buy a few Karzzzz DVD movies . I normally do not watch movies except for Himeshji.😆
I read in the first week he was the highest gross earner of 52 mil. But before Diwali takings are always very low. Anyway no difference to me whether anyone else likes him. Me and Mataji Chitra have love for all.👏👏👏

Yaar, Summer, i wont say that it is doing great. Its just about average it will recover costs though, I am sure So the distributors will be happy. As far as T-series goes, they have sold movie made in 30 cr to Reliance (Anil Ambani) for 60 crore and so Bhushan Kumar has made his table profit. I am sure Reliance will recover its money in the next couple of weeks. Actually this time is extremely bad for movies. People have just lost their will to enjoy due to the current financial crisis. The Sensex in mumbai has tumbled from 20 K to now 8 K. Yesterday, I went Diwali shopping and I have never seens stores this empty on Diwali time. Even the gold shops had half the people.

Lots of people have lost their jobs and its not a good time. Many people have lost their earning in the stock markets. Most of my frens who had invested 5-6 lakhs are now left wil a few thousands. I dont know till when this will last.

I just saw Heroes over the weekend and I got Gaiety balcony on a sunday in current booking ! That has never happened for a movie of this magnitude. Gaiety-Galaxy in Bandra, is the pulse of the audience. I immediately know the outcome of the movie on a friday or latest on sunday, when I go watch the movie at Gaiety.

Even for HEllo, there were no takers (although its a low budget film and will recover costs). I wish that this Diwali, the gloom in the lives of many is lifted and the crisis is over.

With the current recession and increased terrorist activities, this Diwali in India is a black Diwali. I hope things improve.
